One Love Beach in Busabala was yesterday filled with Bobi Wine diehard fans who came to celebrate with the singer cum politician.
The Kyarenga concert was a huge success that saw BobI Wine perform his old and new hits that include, among others; ‘Mazzi Mawanvu’, ‘Kiwani’, ‘By Far’ and Ndi Muna Uganda and of course the crowds favorite, Kyarenga.
He was clad in a red Kyarenga uniform of sorts, designed like that of the military, golden suit and a white African print. His wife Barbie Kyagulanyi was clad in a bareback pink long slit outfit that showed off her hubby's portrait tattoo.
The concert that had its organizers and the Kyarenga promoters pull ropes over the Namboole venue saw patrons flocking the venue a day before the gates were open, they spent the night at One Love Beach.
Some of the artists that shared the stage with Bobi, include among others; Kabako, Eddy Kenzo, Eddy Yawe, Kalifa Aganaga, King Saha and Spice Diana.
With most of them, donning red berets or anything that was red in colour, One Love Beach in Busabala could easily be mistaken for an Airtel sponsored Marathon minutes before starting the race, as red was all you could see.
The revelers were many to the extent that some were insinuating that Namboole could not have accommodated those numbers, not letting Bobi Wine have the Namboole venue was a blessing in disguise, they added.
The concert was live on some TV stations like BBS TV and NTV.Many were also making a killing from selling red outfits ranging from caps, bandanas, T-shirts etc..
