Geosteady's maiden concert a success

09 SEP 2017 10:55 PM

Geosteady doing his thing at Imperial Royale Hotel

Geosteady's concert at Imperial Royale hotel, yesterday, was well attended. The Owooma singer could not believe the huge crowd that had come to grace his maiden concert that comprised mostly women who were singing his songs word by word.

"I would like to thank each and everyone who came through at Imperial Royale Hotel Kampala on 08th September and indeed we made history. The venue had never been filled to capacity and it's on record this is the first time. Am so humbled for your presence and am gonna pin every pic in my room just to keep the love at heart. I'm really touched beyond words to explain the joy. Thanks so much."

Rwanda based artists, DJ Pius, Charly and Nina with whom he did Owooma were part of the artists that entertained the guests.

Geosteady at some point broke down in tears looking at the number of fans that had turned up. It's been a tricky period that saw some well established artists having low turn up at their shows.

The singer hit the stage at about 10:00PM doing five songs that included Mbuuza before going for a break and on coming back, their collaboration song with Lydia Jazmine, Same Way, and Owooma with the Rwanda artists was among the songs he performed.

Among the local artists that performed, Fic Fameica stole the show. Others that performed include; Big Eye, Fille, Maro, B2C, Ykee Benda, Tip Swizzy and King Saha.
