New socialites on the block. Herbert Shonga and Dorothy Shonga, they prefer to be called The Shonga's. Herbert is half Malawian half Ugandan. His dad is Malawian while Dorothy Nkhoma Shonga is Malawian. The couple held their posh wedding at Speke Resort Munyonyo on Dec 6, 2016.

Herbert owns printing and advertising companies on Nasser road, at least that is what is known for now.

Now the latest from their camp is that Herbert has bought Space Lounge, former Club Rouge for his wife, Dorothy Shonga.

"My wife is someone who likes partying and the best way I could make her happy was to buy her a hangout place of her own," Herbert told some close pals.

Folks if you have your significant other who is madly, deeply into partying, you know what to do.

Space Lounge is now under the The Shonga's

Space Lounge was bought at close to 400million in two installments with the first installment made in January 2017, there's currently no outstanding balances as the entire amount has been fully cleared.

On Jun 01, 2017 the Space Lounge was the venue for Ivan Semwanga's farewell party organised by Ugandans living in South Africa that had travelled to Uganda for the burial of the fallen socialite.

Tonight, the after party for the Elgon Cup 2017 Uganda Cranes VS Kenya Simbas is taking place there, entrance is free and there will be lots of Kenyan DJ's doing their thing alongside DJ Slick Stuat and Roja.
