Several artists had gone ahead to post about the passing of the President who authorities say died as a result of a heart failure, but the Konde Gang boss was not among them as he was busy in the studio working on the tribute song. The audio that was released at 2pm has close to 100,000 views on YouTube and the video of the artists while in the studio was released an hour later, it has close to 50k views which is a total of 150k views in under 5 hours. |
The Konde Boy later took to his Instragram with a pic of the President seated on a red chair and another of a cracked road with this caption; "Eti Nami naku post" followed with crying emojis. 2 weeks of mourning have been declared in the neighboring country. His death was announced by the Vice President Samia Hassan Suluhu a few minutes to midnight yesterday (Mar17). |

Dr. Magufuli's last post on Twitter was on February 22, 2021 and it was a condolence message for Prof. Benno Ndulu, the former Bank of Tanzania Governor. Kenya will observe a seven day period of mourning. "I have, with great sadness, learnt of the death of His Excellency John Pombe Magufuli. He was a pragmatic leader who believed in and worked for the economic empowerment of East Africans. We join Tanzania in mourning the passing of a great son of Africa. May his soul rest in peace," Uganda's President Y.K. Museveni noted. Flags in Uganda will fly at half mast until the day of his burial. Rwanda followed suit. Share
