List of first ever Janzi Awards 2021 winners

The first edition of the Janzi awards was held over the weekend, it was a two day event with the first day being reserved for the silent arts in the performing arts, visual arts and crafts, books and publishing, software and innovations, cultural and natural heritage and support service categories.

The second day was for sound and motion arts that included music, film and video.

A-Pass, Karole Kasita were some of the performers. Lillian Mbabazi also did  a number of songs belonging to her late baby daddy, Mowzey Radio.


Cindy Sanyu was able to interrupt her honeymoon to attend the second day of the Janzi awards. She was later joined by Jackie Chandiru for a photo moment to remind fans of the once powerful trio of Blu3, Lillian was backstage so she missed out on that mini reunion.
