In the Tweet, she was announcing the arrival of a white Range Rover which was like a dream come true for her. The ride is valued at over 200 million. It should be recalled that for years now, Martha Kay has always been with a toy Range Rover which she has always admired while patiently waiting for the real ride. Whether or not the radio host, actress and photographer can afford the ride is a topic for another day, but for now though, Martha Kay was a proud owner of a RANGE ROVER for at least two weeks. Anne Kansiime, Judith Heard and Sheilah Gashumba were among those that congratulated her on the milestone. As the congratulatory messages were still trickling in, Martha Kay came out to announce that the two weeks old ride had been stolen.
"The last few hours have been like a horrible nightmare! My new car, was stolen last night. I’ve only had my Range Rover for 2 weeks! 2 weeks, guys! As in! I don’t even know where to start from! This particular tweet had close to 1700 comments, over 1K retweets to ensure that word circulates around for the lost white rover. "I can't believe this is happening. I'm so confused," Martha Kay added. Her fans would later shift from congratulating her to now feeling sorry, but the stolen Range Rover ride had a tracker, and the Nxt Radio host remains hopeful it will be found. AdvertisementsAs expected, she has been trending on Twitter for obvious reasons, owning a Range Rover for two weeks before it is stolen, but again, very hopeful that it will be found now that there was a tracker installed. We now wait for the announcement that the Range Rover has been recovered... Some folks wanted to help with the search provided she could reveal the reg plates, but she wondered whether they were thieves, something that made some conclude that this was a stunt and an advert for a car tracking company. "Hey swilats!! Thank you so much for all the kind words and support. Yesterday was a long one! Fortunately, I had a tracker in the car so there is hope." |
