The last two years have been slow for the artists and many in the entertainment circles that they've opted to do other businesses as they wait for the sector to fully open next month. Lately, Jeff Kiwa focuses more of his time on real estate that he hardly promotes Sheebah's music, this is one of the reasons behind the development according to music critic Jenkins Mukasa. Should, for any reason, the sector not open next month as planned, Sheebah has lined up various projects that she will be doing that range from her Buziga based Red Terrace bar, Red Events and her recently launched Queen Karma boat cruise where she charges UGX 50,000/- per person for an hour for a maximum capacity of 15 passengers. On top of that, Sheebah is among the top artists that have performed at events during the lockdown. AdvertisementJeff Kiwa and Sheebah Karungi Former Rubaga South MP Kato Lubwama has appealed to Sheebah Karungi to reconsider her position should it turn out that they have parted ways with Jeff Kiwa. "They've been on this journey together and her success is largely attributed to him, and the pandemic has affected all of us, so this is not the right time to separate," Hon. Kato Lubwama said. "It is okay for her to move on. She was once with Stingerz, then Obsessions and now Team No Sleep, she can always land onto something else," Jenkins Mukasa added. AdvertisementsThe role that artists' managers play cannot be underestimated, this can be traced to Swangz Avenue, where Vinka who initially managed Irene Ntale is now a force to be reckoned with and how, Azawi, who was a songwriter is now a fully fledged artist with many saying she could easily bring in a Grammy award. It is for that reason that some of the view that Sheebah needs to reconsider her decision, but for now, though, we wait to see what she says about the development, because that last time, she kept right there. 'YOLO' is the last music project Jeff Kiwa has promoted on his socials. A week back, Sheebah Karungi teamed up with Ameria Nambala to release their 'Bwenjoya' collaboration song, Jeff Kiwa doesn't do promos for it. |
