The Uganda Musicians' Association (UMA) has suspended three top officials over reasons yet to be known.

Isaac Rucci, Phina Masanyalaze and Halima Namakula

The suspension of Phina Mugerwa also known as Phina Masanyalaze, the UMA and UMA SACCO secretary, veteran singer Halima Namakula, who is a UMA board member and UMA SACCO Head of Loans committee takes immediate effect.

The letter dated (Dec 6) and signed by the UMA Treasurer, Big Eye, real name Ibrahim Mayanja adds that whoever deals with the suspended trio does so at their own peril.

Suspended also is former Limit X member Isaac Rucci, the UMA SACCO chairperson and a UMA Board member, but he has since come out to trash the move, saying Big Eye as the treasurer has no authority to fire anyone, it has to be a board resolution and that communication can be communicated by the ''Too Much'' singer, Cindy Sanyu.

This is happening at the time when the UMA President Cindy Sanyu, is in the middle of her wedding preparations having introduced her Prynce Charming to her parents' home in Serere over the weekend.

The 'Malibongwe' star, Isaac Rucci, maintains that if the UMA President, Cindy Sanyu, serves him with the letter suspending him, he will gladly step aside, but for now, he continues doing his duties as the UMA SACCO chairman and a UMA board member.

Not much is on the radar except for the fight between Halima Namakula and Phina Masanyalaze that saw them nearly head for a cat fight, they now don't see eye-to-eye.

Unconfirmed sources say the fight is related to money issues, but that can only be confirmed by Cindy and that will be after her honeymoon.

According to Big Eye's letter, Remah Nalumansi, is now in charge of all the UMA communications and business until further notice.
