Last Friday when the Basiima Ogenze star appeared on stage, he was in a police uniform and yet Police chief Kale kayihura had ordered him not to try out such an attempt.
To make matters worse, the artists attacked police and at one time referred to some as lunatics. Chameleone decided to dress like a policeman to show support for Bebe Cool who was shot by Alfred Akikang last January.
Insider sources reveal that was not a Uganda police uniform. Now we have learnt that RPC Moses Kafeero has been instructed to investigate the matter. This is the very officer Chameleone approached before the launch asking for permission to wear the uniform. The RPC forwarded the matter to IGP, Kale Kayihura who retaliated by phoning Chamili on his phone and advised him not to.
“The IGP is mad Chameleone disrespected him. He personally told him not to wear police gear but he didn’t listen. He won’t go away with it, ” a police source confirmed.
