Strange things have continued to hit Busoga Kingdom.The latest is the controversial election of Busoga's new King which has been nullified. This was revealed in a press statement by the judiciary publicist, Erias Kisawuzi early in the week. The statement says all those who organized the elections of Kyabazinga risk legal action for influencing cultural matters into political ones to the extent of defying court orders. "No one has a responsibility over these matters. The elections were null and void". This follows a constitutional Court order on 30.Oct.2008 staying elections but the Chief's Royal Council went ahead and held the polls. 

The nullification has caused more excitement in many parts of Busoga. Meanwhile a meeting is to be held today in the dilapidated Budhumbula Palace flanked by Prince Gabula William Nadiope, Ceaser who said they can never accept Wambuzi as their king.
