It is a sex mess at UBC  as employees have turned the corporation into a sex platform. Members of the same department and different departments are in serious steamy relationships. It is even made worse for interns joining the national broadcaster as the bosses take advantage of them.

A popular male presenter on one of the UBC radios was having it with two ladies who later learnt of the ''affairs'' and had a fight in the corridors. They were only separated by the guards after one of the girls sustained a serious wound on her forehead from a high heel shoe.

Management learnt of the matter unofficially but of course did nothing as the presenter is untouchable.

Another scandal is of one of the girls who was recruited as a messenger but within two months catapulted to HR/FAD manager. In the process she is enjoying a huge salary and this has brought about a lot confusion in protocol.

Uganda Broadcasting Corporation(UBC) PRO Jane Kasumba was consulted on the allegations and she said that if there is such a complaint it will be investigated but also said an element of malice could be in place as some positions are naturally sensitive and those holding them can never be popular with staff members especially when one thinks you blocked their promotion or you did not cash their requisition.
