The British Music of African Origin (MOBO) Awards have not listed any Ugandan Musician this year. This simply suggests that Uganda Music is not good enough this year. This will force our artists to do better to be featured in the 2009 Awards.
Bebe Cool and Jose Chameleon have featured before in the Best African Act Category of the MOBO Awards. Surprisingly our neighbors are doing very well when it comes to nominations in the MOBO Awards.
Jua Kali and Wahu of Sweet Love are nominated together with Asa 'D' Banj, 9ice, Faze, Hip Hop Patsula, Jozi, Magic System among others.
The no nonsense Naija Boyz, PSquare are definitely there.
