Members of Parliament sitting on the Committee of Commissions, Statutory Authorities and State Enterprises have written to the International Police (Interpol) seeking its intervention into a deal that was reached between UTL and Gemtel Ltd, a company that operates in Southern Sudan .
According to MPs the two companies reached an agreement for Gemtel to use Uganda's country code of +256 in Southern Sudan, but the owners of Gemtel are not known to the public.
