OPPORTUNIST - The saying that blood is thicker than water holds more power than we thought. A few weeks ago we wrote on this very page that upcoming hip hop artiste Atlas had failed..er..refused to pay Club Rouge damages.

This was after he had had a fight and broke the club's microphone. Now word reaching us is that Rouge's proprietor Spear Abowe wanted to use that incident as an opportunity to mint dime from Ally Alibhai.

We are told Atlas is signed to Talent 256 which is managed by Alibhai and so Alibhai is his manager. And Spear cannot get money from Atlas because he is his nephew and logically he can't reprimand a relative.

This sensibly meant that Spear was losing out on the dime. Yet, Spear doesn't want Alibhai to know that he and Atlas are close relatives. So he was asking Ally for the dime  because he is Atlas' manager.

But as it seems these days, Spear could be losing out because Atlas is a free man who walks in and out of Rouge scot free as though nothing has ever happened. Indeed blood is thicker than water.

All is not well between Edwin Lance Uganda, Zone 7 and Galactico Uganda over a failed deal among the three. Galactico Uganda is a Social Security House-based Event Management, P.R & Marketing, Creative Concept development, Talent Management and booking Agency was supposed to bring the 'Big Brother Africa' (BBAV) All stars to Kampala on Saturday but the deal failed to materialise.

Now we are told Edwin Lance and Zone 7 who were the main sponsors of the party that was slated to take part in Club Rouge are set to sue the above company over the aborted deal.

Galactica failed to inform the main sponsors that the stars are not coming in time and did it at the last moment on Saturday. Sources say the two main sponsors and the host Club Rouge lost over Shs 30m in the process.

The losses were in tickets, adverts for the event, fliers and posters. However, the revellers who had turned up at the party were not all that disappointed as they were well entertained by Navio and Nu Lyfe Crew Singers.

        
The sexiest barmaid in town Diane of Club Rouge last Monday paraded her lover at T1 Club. She was all over him , close friends who know her well said that this lover who looked rather not confident is a dancer in a certain group in town and that they at one point danced together.
