Most musicians are smiling from heartily after earning big from the newly rebranded Bell Lager, WTF has learnt. The artistes earned big from the recently concluded Bell Lager new bottle regional activations that have been going on around the country.

The regional activations ended just last Saturday in Gulu. We have learnt that for the Gulu activation alone, star duo of Moze Radio and Weasel TV earned a whooping shs 7m to perform there.

This included their transport and accommodation. Coco Finger was paid Shs 2.5m for Gulu. It must be noted that he has been part of all the activation tours thus meaning he could have earned over Shs 15m.

Also DJ Michael earned over Shs 10m in the whole campaign. Other artistes who earned big include Ssiza The Dictionary (Shs2m for the Gulu activation) GNL Zamba (Shs11m), Kid Fox, Toolman among others.

Meanwhile, a Uganda Breweries Limited insider insider tells us the company under the brad Bell wants to sign some of these top artistes as their brand ambassadors. Watch this space!

         
You might have thought that it's only guys who know how to guzzle. But in our banana republic we have a crop of galz who down them pints as if their whole lives depend on booze. These galz have really showed us that they can catch a swallow and they know how to handle it.

Here are those gals in the booze brigade and their favourite drinks.

She is always in the company of fellow babes to help her when she staggers. The gal can really handle the bitter and this year her form has been devastating.

Dorah - Beats some of the top male drunkos in this town; she will be seen swallowing multiple drinks or Red Label with friends like Black with who they are foes. When tipsy, Dorah's temper goes through the roof. This has seen her temporarily banned from the night clubs of recent.

Ruth Kurt -  This model turned musician really knows how to handle her booze. This year has been booze filled for her and she will leave to remember when she cancelled MTN Kampala Marathon participation all in the name of booze. She downs Club as if Nibiru is coming.

When high she will move her huge butt and you would think that a hippo had just wiggled past you.

Leila Kayondo - This club trotter will be spotted at all happening joints that have got us wondering whether she has a roof to shelter her. She will be seen drinking all kinds of booze save for water. when she hits the heights, Leila will resort to Tequila.

Arena Kasyata - This hard parties has invaded the territories of the likes of Judith Heard, Zarie Hassan Daphne and many more.What she is doing to Tusker you won't believe. This year has been a success for her though the bottle. 

Margla - Uganda's Lady Gaga is known for her wild reggae music but what you didn't know is that this babe has a huge appetite for booze. She is always seen taking hard stuff like Bond 7 bottle by bottle. When  high Margla will year for a romp.

Once the unthinkable happened on July 11 when Al-Shabaab terrorists hit Kampala, one of the businesses hurt most was the alcohol industry. Revellers shunned all happening places for fear of being blown up into pieces.

This affected beer sales as bars were not receiving enough patrons. One Fred Matovu of Moonberg Lager notes that low sales, high taxes on raw materials used in brewing beer like malt and hops have had a negative impact on the revenues of brewers in the market.

Two months after the horrific act, patrons are returning to their usual habit and this signals good times for alcohol makers who depend entirely on the alcohol sellers.
