• URA Looses over 40 Bn - This has been happening over a year now through the information technology section unnoticed. Six IT Staff inclusive of the head of section have been interdicted pending investigations. They have been using some sophiscated programe leading to the above loss from the amount of money deposited on Uganda Revenue Authority's accounts
• Shimoni Land Given to Oscar Industries - The 15.1 acres of land originally housing Shimoni school and later given to the fifth richest man has now ended up to Oscar Industries for car assembling. The Tycoon lost interest in the place and the President has decided to give the land to Molan Kiwanuka who intend to set up a car assembly plant on Kampala-Masaka road. They will use the Shimon land for exhibition of the new cars during CHOGM.
