Singer Bebe Cool has been discharged from Nsambya Hospital and his situation is improving. The moment Bebe was discharged, he went straight to Mulago hospital to visit the police officer who was also shot in the scuffle. The two have agreed on settling the matter diplomatically.

There were fears that the Bogolako star would not walk again but Bebe is closing in on getting his legs ready for Chameleone's Basiima Ogenze album launch that will be taking place on February 19. The Gagemel Crew president suffered gun shots on the night of January 30.

The President has agreed to clear Bebe's hospital bills that amount to more than 15M. Snoops caught up with him at his Ntinda pad as he played with his kids Thierry Alpha and daughter Beta. 

The Luganda weekly Tabloid that hit the market last September has now gone daily having picked in the last four months of existence. The paper that is published by Pepper Publications became a daily effective 01.Feb.2010.

The Inspector General of Police (IGP) Maj Gen. Kale Kayihura has opened the lid on concerts and said that artistes who perform below the fans expectations would now be subject to criminal charges. The evidently irked police head cited the R.Kelly show which he branded as a rip off saying that the star should be charged for obtaining money by false pretence.

''I have now taken over. No concerts without my approval and a contract must be signed by all stakeholders. How many songs and how long the singer must stay on the stage. I can't afford seeing millions of people going for a riot because of security insensitive artistes"

"I was personally there and the way the man(Kelly) fled the stage, even when people were still entering, expressed he was himself guilty. Iam provided for in the constitution to detect and prevent disorder so, from today on, any contract must have a nod from police," he said.

Straka's relationship and Ssizaman is on the rocks according t o close pals to the couple. Bulky Straka is planning to throw the guy out for another fella much as she has not yet found her new 'love' Ever since the flopped wedding, she has been trying to throw him out.

She expected to earn a lot of dime through sponsors for the wedding, but now she knows her future with Ssizaman is not productive. A pal added: "Straka and Ssiza are no longer the couple of last year. Ever since their flopped wedding, the pair have been drifting apart. Their relationship is headed to the dogs."

Straka organized the Miss Ssese pageant which flopped but gave Ssiza an elbow. Ssiza simply resorted to Guinness. Even the R.Kelly show where Straka was the MC, there was no sign of Sizzaman. Watch this Space.

Local Musicians under under their Umbrella, Uganda Musicians Federation have stung police following the shooting of their fellow star, Moses Ssali also Bebe Cool. The meeting that took place at sharing hall Nsambya was aimed at showing togetherness and unity among local artistes.

The artistes managed to raise Shs 5m as upkeep for Bebe as he remains bedridden at Nsambya Hospital. The Musician Federation Chairman, Silver Kyagulanyi said: "As a fraternity, we condemn the actions not only by the fact that it involved a musician but even if it were any other Ugandan citizen.  How on earth can a cop shoot a civilian five times? That's brutal."

Bebe Cool and Bobi Wine are not that friends but Bobi Wine who is the musicians General Secretary said: In such a trying moment, musicians should come together and show support and love for Bebe Cool. Meanwhile, Bobi Wine was given a police bond after beating up a UPDF soldier one Cpl. Wasswa Mohammed a bodyguard to Makindye RDC.

It is alleged that Bobi roughed up the soldier at CHOGM Bar in Kabalagala last week. Bobi Wine was escorted by his crew members as he went to make a statement.

Zain Uganda handed over the R. Kelly autographed Range Rover to Dativa Natukunda. Dativa responded by saying: By the help of my family, I will maintain the monster car I have got from Zain Uganda and I promise not to sale it"

Former showtime magazine presenter Barbara Yata is not down and out. All is not well between the guards of Crane Bank branch in Kireka. We hear that two weeks back, the ladies of the night were at it when they attacked the guards for refusing them to use part of the space at the rear end of the building for their sessions with clients.

The girls accuse the newly deployed guards for failing their business. Even though some had offered them goodies, the armed boys who had serious looks on their faces refused. This forced the ladies of the night to insult them for the rest of the night. Now that is what we call tight security.

        
A pool attendant has scored in former Miss Uganda and Big Brother Africa hopeful Jackie Juuko. Jackie is five months pregnant after the the former pool attendant at Ground Zero Bar did the needful. A pal said: "Jackie loves her pool attendant. He is the best thing to ever occur to her life. He loves her so much and considers her the the best thing on two legs. They agreed to have a baby together"

The two were sighted at Ground Zero bar in Wandegeya getting cozy. Jackie is dur to give birth in April.
