Kassim Ouma was born on the 12/Dec/1978 and joined the army at the age of six and on leaving the army Kassim started boxing right away.Kassim went for a trip to the United States organized by the Uganda National Amateurs, Ouma decided to stay and undertake a career in professional boxing.He has been in the US for the last ten years and on the eve of 21/April/2007 he was granted to a full red-carpet reception at Entebbe International Airport where he was received by Juliana Kanyomozi.
