Supermarkets have taken advantage of the location and are competing with petrol stations in setting up establishments here. Quality Supermarket has a gigantic departmental store on Ntinda Shopping Centre. Good Price Supermarket which closes at 11:00pm is adjacent to Ntinda shopping complex. Other super markets in the region are Kenjoy Supermarket and Super Supermarket.

Kadic Hospital is a full fledged hospital operating 24 hours next to C&C building which has a health club with Sauna, massage and Steam bath in its upstairs section and Pizzas and Burgers in its down stairs section. Paragon hospital is next to Kenjoy supermarket

Ntinda has very many restaurants and Bars most of which do operate till the wee hours of the morning.

Passing through Ntinda you will be connecting to so many places ranging from Ndere Troupe, Northern by Pass, Kiwatule Recreation Centre, and the prestigious Naalya Estates & Kisaasi. Through Ntinda you can connect to Namugongo Shrine and subsequently to Jinja.

Gas Stations like Caltex and Shell are next to each a good way of checking on price or better still another way for replenishing cooking gas for those using gas from these filling stations. These Petrol stations have shops well equipped with all sorts of basic amenities.

Connecting to town from Ntinda is no problem at all as commuter taxis are available in every 2 to 5 minutes from each other except for the mornings which are a rush hour for office goers but all in all taxis are available. The cost to town is normally 500 to 1000 Ugx.

On top of being a residential area most companies have found reason to set up offices here as an alternative to the otherwise too much rent in town. The Uganda National Examination Board (UNEB) is located in Ntinda plus the Industrial area in Ntinda.
