Bebe Cool Escapes Death

The 'Bogolako' star was shot twice by a policeman at the prestigious Nakumatt shopping mall that operates 24 hours a day. Bebe is in a critical condition at Nsambya Hospital around the American Embassy.

This happened during the wee hours of Saturday morning most likely after the R.Kelly show. A couple yet to be identified was having sex in the parking in between Centenary Park and Nakumatt. Police learnt of it and swung into action leading to a scuffle between police men and Bebe Cool's body guards commonly known as Kanyama's who had started throwing stones at the police men.

In the scuffle, that is how Bebe Cool came to be hurt and another police man only known as Oluka who is admitted in Mulago hospital. One of Bebe Cool's bouncer Kayizi Godfrey was hurt but he is showing signs of recovery.

The police PRO Judith Nabakooba has confirmed that the incident took place at the Oasis parking mall and the policeman who shot has already been arrested and is being held at Jinja road Police Station.

Bebe Cool's thighs were shot plus three other bouncers who are equally nursing bullet wounds on their legs. Bebe Cool's wife, Zuena and Dad former Minister Jaberi Bindandi Ssali were at the hospital to ensure that the star recovers quickly.

Its really bad news to shoot our man,police men should keep descipline which the army has because you cant tempt to kill somebody because os those who were slowing stones. Can u imargine gun men with those with stones. Any way quick recovery H.E Beebe cool.

Its really bad news to shoot our man,police men should keep discpline which the army has because you cant kill somebody because stone throwing. Can u imagine gun men vs stones. Any way quick recovery H.E Beebe cool.

It seems Ugandan policemen have really lost it.It is illegal in some countries to fire live bullets at unarmed people.The police are getting out of hand they are supposed to protect us but instead they harm us.Discipline is needed.Bebe get well soon.

Sorry for the incident on our man Bebe cool.But what people should know is that an armed person cant be taken for granted.Some people like joking or fooling around with them not knowing that for them they decide at once. Whatever happens on him during duty is him to blame,so our celebrities pliz concetrate on ur music avoid anninecessary wrangles.

Uganda police need take control of the police officers they arm with guns. Back in 2007 in june i was short @ in Bwaise/Kawempe divison while coming from katooke village. The police officer was arrested,but for me , my wife and children had go back to the USA. I've been trying to find out happened to the office, but no answer. My car was damaged. I spent hours at kawempe police station while they were investigating the office.My family was scared to death. The story was in newvision of june,27th, 2007.
