                   Former UN Diplomat, Olara Otunnu
Former UN diplomat, Olara Otunnu yesterday touched Entebbe airport at 9:45pm aboard a Kenyan Airways. He emerged from the VIP section to meet a handful of MPs and UPC party officials. He traveled in a brown coaster to Kampala.

Dr. Olara Otunnu who hails from Kitgum District in Northern Uganda left the country in 1986 after the National Resistence Army toppled the then government of fallen Tito Okello Lutwa. He traveled back to the country without a passport. He has however applied for one.

A day before his return to Uganda, there was an Interview that ran on NTV about his future plans. NTV's Linus Kaikai of NTV continuously asked him whether he wanted to run for presidency and he still did not giver him a clear cut answer.

We ugandans dont see any future in Olala Otunu because all what they did during their time we heard them though we were very young and to make matters worse when I reached primary six the chairman of U.P.C had to force me to go exile that because I supported President museveni and of which idid not understand well politics but the Otunus forced me to exile. Now what is otunu olara wanting to decive us? Please I would like to inform you that you are going to get few votes from north and eastern but the rest of uganda is for President Musevenni, naye mwe twabakoowa. And Iam very sure you are awere of what you did at Lubiri in 1966 and you know very well what u.p.c did to Mutesa!! TWABAKOOWA BAMBI!!

Mr.Olala, want to ask you that what you in the U.N for Uganda as acountry? So forget to take any place in the politics affairs of Uganda, because you people when you to the U.N,the only thing you look is to enjoy, but not to help your countries, thats why all the peoples of African countries are suffering every from the didactors, instead of changing the laws in U.N which are against the African countries.

Olara Otunu came with one message of hope,he is telling us that if you believe Ugandans deserve better, then we need to turn about and change the way we think. For the past 23 years under Mr Museveni's Governance Uganda has more poverty and economic depravity than at any time in our short history as an independent country.

Otunnu is an asset any country would pose to own..Ranging from his high levels of Political intergrity to outraging contribution to the world peace among others, he deservices it.Forget political divisionism and think about the future of our beloved uganda in the hands of an intellectual and highly respected figure like him.We love you Otunnu

Businge and Mutesbi, you are evidence that we need to change our curriculum to better educate our children. No one has realized this for the last 20+ years. Time for Dr. Otunnu to bring about some real change.

What all ugandans should know is that Olara otunu is one of the rear breed in Africa and the world over. All those utterances directed with bitterness towards Mr. Otunu is just full of hates and tribal sentiments. A lot has been witnessed in the political history of Uganda. I am not a Ugandan but many ugandans are un aware of themselves and they do not know what they want. Poverty has blind folded you Ugandans. I have live in Uganda and I have been in Uganda for 24 years since I was 8 years old I witnessed a lot, but the only problem is that the people in South do not understand the real meaning of nationhood. Olara Otunu if given chance would give you tangible benefits.
