The Cabinet Ministers and Ministers of State for the year 2011-2016 is out with some new ministries and faces making it to the final list. This will end weeks of speculation. Six months back, the former Mayor of Kampala 'put his back behind' the ruling party and indeed that move has paid off as he is a Minister though with no portfolio.

Radio One's Maria Kiwanuka is now the Minister for Finance, Janet Museveni has retained the Ministry for Karamoja which is now a cabinet post as opposed to the previous term when she was the State Minister in charge of the Northern region of Karamoja.

Veteran politician Aggrey Awori who was the Minister in charge of Information & Communication Technology(ICT) has lost that post to Nduggu Ruhakana Rugunda and so is Kirunda Kivenjinja who did not make it.
