Just as the heavy weight was recovering from leg injuries sustained from Tanzania last year, he has again sustained fresh wounds from an accident that almost left him dead.

He was knocked last night at 3:00am on his way from Club Silk by a car suspected to be for one of his rivals. The guy only identified as Meddy blocked Chameleone's way forcing the heavy weight to come out of his car and demanding to know why this guy had blocked his way and this is what Meddy said:''Gwe Weyita Munene nti Oli Heavy weight naye gwe tomanyi kiki kidda, kuzze nawe kulikko agenda okuffa. Nze Nkubulira kanno kakyali kazanyo''. Literally meaning that You think you are a heavy weight but you do not know what is going to follow shortly between you and me, one of us is going to meet the creator. I'm telling you this is still a game.

This is when Meddy got into his car and knocked Chameleon very badly in the process sustaining more injuries on top of the leg injuries that were recuperating.

Some Radio stations were actually announcing Chameleone as Dead due to the injuries that he sustained in the process of the accident. Chameleone was recovering very fast to the point that he was getting used to walk without clutches but this latest accident has put the forthcoming album launch to hang in balance because the heavy weight nearly died.
