Keko a Nominee in the 2012 Channel O Music Awards

Keko is a nominee in the Channel O 2012 Music Awards
The sky is the limit for female rapper Keko. A few weeks back, the 'Make you Dance' star had just got signed to Sony Music Africa and last night, her track 'Make you Dance' that she did with Kenya's Madtraxx was on the list of videos that stood out between June 2011 to June 2012.

The nominations for the 2012 Channel O Music Awards are out and female rapper Keko is a nominee under the category of the 'Most Gifted Female Vid of the Year'.

In this category, she will be tussling it out with Bulelwa Mkutukana from South Africa, Mozambican star Lizha James, Tiwa Savage and Mo 'Cheddah from Nigeria. Last year, 'How We do It' Remix by Keko, Moze Radio and Weasel took the Most Gifted African East Video.

Other Ugandans who have made it on the nominations list include: Maurice Kirya's 'I don't want to fight' video nominated in the category of 'Most Gifted Afro Pop Video of the Year'. In the same category is 'Money' by Namibia's Gal Level ft Toniks.

Keko's 'Make you Dance' again makes it to the 'Most Gifted African East Video of the Year' tussling it out with Navio's 'One and Only'. This category is so competitive with the likes of K'nan, Camp Mulla and Tanzania's AY.

The 9th Channel O Music Video Awards will be held on November 17 in Kliptown, Joburg South Africa.

Kadigo you need to get a life! They r so many better artsists who r not on chanel O ' s list but it does not make em any lesser, and this about Keko, why do u alway want drag us in ur trash way of thinking?

Its very unfortunate that we still have peaple of your thinking[KADINGO], We have stars like R. Kelly, he is never been nominated for da gramys, bt dont u think he is the best RNB, artist of all time?, So never write for da sake of writing, and Bobi is big by far.

Truth be told guys,apart from too much weed blowing and volcanic mouthing,Bobi Wine has never been recognized beyond the borders of Kla,Wakiso,Luweero,Masaka and may be Lyantonde districts. Kadingo is spot on we need international stars but not people who fill up a local kikaali in kamwokya and walk with their heads high. let him rub shoulders with the international stars and we shall count him as a great musician. Poor thing he pays idlers from the ghettos to fill up his shows. Go ahead Bobi Wine and prove your might on the international scene. @ Pretty, wat truth is dat u think u wanna make us understand? u need to first check whether Bobi en Keko has any relationship in the Music dey do. Keko is a Hip Hop sensation, Bobi talks about things locally dat u even sometimes face dat if not put right by far, u still see them happen in Kla and u go on making noise dat bobi bla bla bla! if u tok music i believe u no de game, but its a big disappointment dat some of you are tryin' to put your noise to smell de wrong stuff, any way............... style up gal, Bobi is big by Far and its for that reason dat anithing dat comes in the Ug music industry u always wanna link Bobi to it, which by far is perfect coz you keep him going. keep it up. poorty

For how long will Bobi target the loacl market? he is instead suffocating it. Even a baby starts by crawling,takes a step,walks and eventually,runs. if bobi is nat a star, just answer YES or No: why always link Bobi to everything dat comes out in de showbizz?. Am a big fun of Keko coz she knows de game, bat wat u think is dat coz Keko is being nominated; means Bobi has to as well be, which clearly shows how off de rocker u ah. i now know dat u ah bebe's fan. go help him coz he might die of heart attacks caused by Bobi's things By farrr easy nawe.

we have seen peter miles,bebe kool and keko,kirya n navio nominated by channel o.we have seen klear cut,iryn namubiru,bebe cool,pastor okudi and chameleon nominated at kora awards,we have seen bebe kool and chameleon nominated for mobo awards in uk,we have seen kirya,peter miles,chameleon,gudlife and bebe cool performing on international stages but we have never seen bobi wine there even being nominated.we need to bring out facts
