Today is Da Ragamuffin Gyal Margla's birthday but the worst ever after surviving an accident one day to her birthday that left her car almost written off.
On Friday, Margla's fans occupied the front rows of Club Galaxy and Bull Dog in Wandegeya where she was slated to perform just to get a clear view of the true dance-hall queen whose dress code features that of Lady Gaga.
After several hours of waiting, a reveller at the Hotel Equatorial based Club Galaxy was complaining: "Man DaRagamuffin Gyal is taking long and yet I'm now doing badly via the pockets"
They were later told that their star was involved in an accident but was in good condition so she will be unable to perform as she was having issues with the police.
After sobering up on Saturday morning, Margla dashed to her wall to give an account of what happened.
"I had a serious accident last night my car was crashed on my way to the two shows(Galaxy Club and Bull Dog)..the guy we knocked was so drunk. I can't believe my friend who was driving just ran away...but all in all God was on my side I'm safe and in good condition...Sorry I missed the two performances for I was late and not in my moods. Thanks for the birthday wishes anyway. This is the saddest birthday ever."
