Uganda Revenue Authority (URA) has this campaign running that is valid for one year before they start impounding all vehicles that have not done the online registration 'Get out of the line, Get Online' that requires all car owners to validate their cars and be issued with a new log book.
This however requires that the vehicle is in your name and in event of being in the previous owners name; you are supposed to effect the transfer from the previous owner first. Bad Black had not yet done the transfer making it easy for it to bounce back to the rightful owner.
Her former lover David Greenhalgh never wanted her in the dock at all. All that Greenhalgh wanted was for Bad Black to pin Meddie Ssentongo. The babe who did a breast implant with some of the Shs11bn objected to the move and instead opted to be jailed.
She was actually there (Luzira) for a few weeks and was bailed. This is when David gave her the navy blue Audi Q5 as a way of convincing her to pin Meddie, but the mom of three was still reluctant.
Meanwhile, while all this was going on, Meddie was not bothered a single bit about Bad Black's feelings. Bad Black used to spend her valuable time on facebook pouring her love to Meddie but the lad paid her by throwing Birthday parties for his other lovers.
Bad Black lost temper and started spilling the beans of what used to transpire in the early days of their affair revealing all sorts of things. This is when she decided to advise her lawyers to include Meddie on the charge sheet. At the end of it all, Bad Black was found guilty and sentenced to four years in jail while Meddie is doing 18months.
Now the latest info reaching our desk indicates that Greenhalgh has actually got back the AudiQ5 and they are still trying to recover more assets as they can. This was made possible by the fact that the car had not been transferred in Latifah Nalukenge's name Bad Black had told her sister who is taking care of her four months baby to sell the AudiQ5 and raise the money that could cater for the children while she serves her sentence.
