Sylvia Owori's Toyboy Charged With Theft

City tycoon Kalungi is alleged to have received one of these blows from Kaliisa
City socialite and fashionista Sylvia Owori is up in arms after her toyboy Malik Kaliisa was arrested and charged with two counts of theft and assault.

Appearing at Buganda Road Court, the two counts were read to Malik who appeared humbled. "You Malik Kaliisa together with Abdullah Junju on Dec 13, 2011 robbed Moses Kalungi of USD4,500 at Hi Table in Kampala District."

He was also charged with assault. Malik and a one Junju allegedly beat up Moses Kalungi causing him injuries before taking off with his money. Kaliisa pleaded not guilty for both cases.

Kaliisa was later released on bail though Sylvia wasn't in court at the time. She has however taken to the social network to fight for her toyboy. In her posting she says:

"Malik is no thief Kalungi is just looking for cheap publicity. How can he be robbed yet he moves with up to 20 bodyguards. If his issue is with me, let him bring it to me and not someone trying to make something for themselves.

Its sad to know many innocent people are in jail just because someone has money and can pay there way to get some arrested."

Hehehehehehe,truth or not,I saw Malik on TV looking like a kid with a pleading face,waiting for mom's beating knowing its done wrong. But some Ugandans banange......old habits die hard. Dude I thot your God mom Sylie provides at least some thing substantial for you!!! eeeeeeeehhhh,am speechless.

People you dont know what you talking about. Malik is a grandson to the late haji Kasule of wandegeya,he is not from William street, on the contrary I'm from William st and I don't know of him leaving or working there,William used to be our home.it's not a bad thing being from William st,that villager Kalinin aka bill gates just loves attention.as his big brother keeps taking buildings from fellow country men through his dealings with subdirectories crane bank.
