
City businessman Ronald Semakula also known as Rubereto has been charged with attempted murder following the Club Silk shooting that left one Nyakaana Job and Sam Richard Ojara in a critical condition.
Appearing in Nakawa court today, he was told how on the 17-June-2012 he almost took the two men out of action. He pleaded not guilty and the case was adjourned to 23-July 2012.
Nakawa court Chief Magistrate Esther Nambayo found the sureties that were presented as substantial and proceeded to grant Rubeleto a cash bail of Shs500,000.
Its also alleged that Rubeleto used his gun sometime back at Club Silk as he was having an argument with Richie Katts on who had more money. The Businessman was also forced to apologise to veteran musician Joanita Kawalya when he pulled put his pistol during the late Fred Maiso's vigil at National Theatre.
