Agataliiko Nfuufu is Bukedde TV's news version that shows a repeat of the previous night version at 6am with current news at 12:30pm and the drama filled bulletin strategically placed at 10pm.
The show has become more popular than the TV station itself. However, child sacrifice, theft, indecent dressing, wife beating, exhuming bodies and drunkenness are the most selling points for the bulletin.
Amazingly, other stations are slowly taking a similar pattern in their Luganda news versions. Agataliiko Nfuufu will last for at least 45min to an hour depending on how the day goes.
If there's been an A4C related activity with the police like it has been the case in the past few days, you could think you are watching a movie or documentary.
In yesterday's version, there was a maid who had a child but her new bosses who were paying her 40,000/- per month did not want one with a child, so she went and dumped her by the rail lines so that a train runs over the poor kid. The kid was rescued by on lookers who suspected the woman.
The channel is now live on DSTV implying that it has a wider base in terms of viewership.
