Roger Mugisha with MP Karuhanga at Sheraton Hotel and inset is another version of Roger who has become so unpredictable of late.
City MC and KFM's D'Mighty breakfast show host Roger Mugisha took the social network buzzing with tweets and posts about being the first Ugandan to echo out his voice in what he termed as things going in the wrong direction.

He tendered in his resignation protesting the move of MPs getting 103m each to buy a car and yet teachers were not well facilitated. One of the reasons that prompted the action he took was thus;

"Mps aren't there cars in the bond of 20m ? Why 103m for cars that depreciate? The teachers who taught you are still in the schools you went to hoping, you will come to their rescue."

Before going to bed, he made a posting on how he was confused and had failed to sleep after talking to his pastor who told him that radio was his calling and so he should not quit.

On Wednesday morning, the radio station was playing more of music with announcements of a new line up of presenters who had replaced Roger Mugisha. When the normal programming resumed, the station streaming live from Sheraton Hotel.

Roger hinted on the reasons behind the move but wait a minute, he was presenting and by then he had long reversed the move.

Knowing what would follow, this was his latest posting, "when personal goals coincide with station plans it will be called a stunt. Only time will tell my personal ambitions towards transforming this country, it has to start somewhere.

I started yesterday, & am back on radio tomorrow to start the final chapter. My core values haven't changed, I will still do what I committed to do this year and that is breaking the silence.

We as Ugandans are too docile and submissive, am not trying to play hero, am only awakening the giant in you. You can call me all names but time is on my side."

All in all, Roger has played his part and whether or not he resigns, he has made his point.
