Court in Nakawa yesterday found Alfred Achikan guilty for having shot local singer Bebe Cool on January 30, 2010. Chief Magistrate, Ms Esta Nambayo sentenced Alfred to nine years in prison.
On the fateful day, Bebe Cool in the company of three others had just been at the R.Kelly show and were going to have more drinks to crown off the night. As they were heading to Nakumatt through the Centenary Park parking lot, they came across cops trying to arrest folks who were locked up in a car.

The shooting left Bebe Cool on a wheel chair for several months. Being a musician he is, he had to grace entertainment places with crutches. The President later paid for his treatment in the US that got him walking again.
