The wedding that cost over Shs1bn was the talk of the town leaving many wondering but later a list of those who contributed was published in one of the dailies and among them was Mesach Semakula contributing Shs18m towards Flex Kabuye's wedding.
Many thought this was an error of sorts or better still a doctored figure. However, the latest information before us is that the Eagle's production member paid the full amount and if anything, he was willing to pay more.
Mesach Semakula was sometime back grounded on a wheel-chair after his leg became swollen and it was Kabuye who came in to rescue the situation by having him flown to the US for specialized medical attention that cost about Shs30m.
"Shs18m is nothing to what he did for me." Mesach said.
