Ugandans were once again disappointed when Chaka Demus did not show up for the Munyonyo end of year show that was organised by Bebe Cool and his Gagamel Crew. The show was instead graced by Pliers and Mr. Goofy of the swaggerific fame.
This was known after several local artistes had performed now the time when the duo were expected it was then that Pliers came out to inform the fans that Chaka Demus had missed the flight on top of not feeling well after the Cameroon and Nigerian shows.
Bebe Cool plus other local artistes like Coco Finger put up a good show to make it at least a lot better than the flopped Elephant Man show last month. He jetted into the country but did not show up on stage due to a number of unresolved issues.
One Linda Velsfan who attended the show had this to say:"The concert ended well with the big names as DJ Michael, Coco Finger, Bebe Cool, Mr G and Pliers. But most of the other guys were just not interesting to me. It was a shame as the fantastic Sean Kingston concert had given me very high hopes for this one too! Ah well I did think that Pliers still gave a good show considering, and the fire works and comedians were cool!"
