Last Friday saw Malik Kaliisa being outplayed in the national kickboxing title fight at Kati Kati grounds. The fight that was organised by fashion mogul Sylvia Owori and the Uganda National Kick Boxing Federation was won by Titus Tugume taking home Shs10m.
The kick like the one above gave Sylvia a lot of hope in Malik and honestly if UPDF's Tugume had allowed any of those kicks to land on him safely, then this would have been Malik's fight but as it turned out, he was only able to pose for photographs. In the fight Tugume was acting like a hard rock as he descended on Malik the 'Hitman'
As if that was not enough, Kati Kati had more empty seats than anything. It rained heavily that day to the extent that a handful of people attended the fight making it a double loss for the fashion mogul.
On Tugume taking over the championship belt, one of the fans sent the revellers to rib breaking laughter when he said that they should take Owori with her because they did not think Malik could handle her well.
Meanwhile, Kalisa who says that he will resume training shortly has promised his fans to be back in the ring very soon; "Guys thanks for supporting me as you all saw the fight was a bit technical it rained and the ring was slippery I did not perform to my best. The hit man is a warrior that never gives up, have asked for a rematch early next year, I will be back.
I love you all my supporters stay on guard. cheers" Malik said.
