Chameleone responds to Cindy's wallet woes

Last Saturday, Cindy was one of the performers at the Inter University Fresher's Ball in Bakuli, Club Ambience. All was well up to the time she went on stage to perform. On coming back, she realised that her money purse was missing.

The top suspects were the people she shared the table with that included Producer Kayz and Chameleone's guard only known as PJ. Cindy used her wall to ask who stole her wallet between the Producer and Chamili's security guard.

Chameleone has been forced to respond, four days later, below is his full post which was backed up by a "Be Aware of Loose Women and Pick Pockets" pic.

"I should put this clear to whosoever is concerned, We are all parasites to nature and I accept fair parasites. But I am not pleased by anybody that dies to share who I am to build their dream. I want to respect you if there is a chance.NOT because you want me to. Funny is even the weak are professionals in weakness."

"All they do is plan how to survive like hyenas next to Simba!!! Honestly I love fair games and next time you carry your purse, carry the one to carry it too! I won't be watching my Fans and your business .Take a leaf, all you putting energy to such rubbish, buy a hoe, plant pine in the next ten years you will be happy to take my advice. Don't put your energy to little things and little on your future."

He then went on to share a youtube link for his latest Wale Wale video. It's ten days short of two months to the time when Chameleone will be holding his 1,000,000/- concert at Serena Hotel in Kampala.

Chameleone and Katsha after he had paid for his One Million show ticket
Last Friday, Chameleone was in Bujumbura, Burundi and yesterday, he was performing in South Africa. While in SA, the Wale Wale singer was receiving money for tickets for his December 18th show.

Katumba Shaffic aka Katsha, popular for his Sushi game has paid over 50 million as his contribution for the One Million show. Chameleone who could not hide his excitement took to his wall, and this is what he said;

"When we said its ONE MAN, ONE NIGHT, ONE SHOW, ONE MILLION, We meant that we are calling the able ones to come and support music Uganda to the fullest! It's Ugandan Pride if you live and love Uganda. Thanks to "PRESIDENT"KATSHA De Bank. Representing South Africa to the fullest!!! $20,000 to the ONE MILLION night. 18th December is the showdown."

Chameleone's show is One Million per head, but Katsha De Bank as he prefers to call himself paid 52 million, the equivalent of 52 tickets (face value is 1 Million) implying that he paid 51 million in excess.

Kampala Metropolitan Police Commander, Andrew Felix Kaweesi and Tito Tong are among the notables confirmed for the December show.

First things first, Samira Tumi seems to be the most beautiful thing that has happened to brothers Douglas Mayanja aka Weasel and Emmanuel Mayanja, formerly AK47, now Akay.

  • Samira is AK47's girlfriend and they've been together since high school,
  • Weasel only featured her in his video but one thing led to the other,
  • Weasel and Samira became so close at the end of last year,
  • Weasel met Samira's parents two weeks back
  • Samira is six months pregnant and Weasel is the baby daddy.

AK47 is not a happy man on learning that he will not end up together with Samira as he explains.

"Weasel came to me asking for Samira to be featured in one of his videos, which was okay with me. Unfortunately, around the end of last year, they became so close. I was hurt though I thought, Samira would come back given the love I had for her. The next thing I heard was that they were staying together in Makindye, Kizungu zone. Some sources say she is pregnant, it is then that I gave up..."

Emmanuel Mayanja adds that they actually did not inform him about the ceremony that saw Chameleone, Moze Radio plus others going to meet Samira's parents in Jinja. On learning about it, I sent them this message; (AK 47 Blesses Weasel and Samira).

Weasel who is currently in London wondered how AK47 could go on claiming that he took his girlfriend. "All he told me was that they were just friends and not lovers.."

In spite of all that, my heart is with Samira, because with her, I have peace at heart,Weasel concluded.

Samira and Weasel share some love

Chameleone Speaks Out;

Their elder brother, Jose Chameleone says that AK47 has not approached him on the matter but if at all their any issues, then our parents are in the best position to address this rather sensitive issues. Chameleone also expressed shock as to why AK47 was interested in Samira and yet he has other girl friends.

I went to Jinja because Weasel asked me to, besides, he had introduced Samira to me something that AK47 has never done, Chameleone concluded.

Poor attendance at Every One Charity Concert

Last Friday, was the 'Every One Charity Concert' at Hotel Africana with over 10 artistes slated to perform. Bobi Wine, Moze Radio, Weasel and Peter Miles were some of the artistes who performed to empty chairs.

Many learnt of this concert during the press conference, which was held just a day before the D-day.

Entrance fee was 20K for the general happiness, 50K VIP and 1.5m for platinum, but there were just a handful of revellers.

Chameleone was supposed to perform but he snubbed the show. He was at Freedom City on Entebbe road, where the crowd was getting physically fit with sounds of Big Eye in his very first concert which was massively attended.

This was the poster for the show

Wale Wale singer, Jose Chameleone

A list of 100 celebrities was last Friday released by New Vision and comedian Anne Kansiime was ranked number one on the list followed by Angella Katatumba. Bebe Cool, Chameleone and Juliana followed in that order.

The list mainly comprised of musicians, radio and TV presenters. socialites, sportsmen and women, comedians among others.

Responding to one publication that had expressed shock over Chameleone being beaten by Anne, the Wale Wale singer said; "Celebrity and popular are two different things."

Again, Chameleone was asked about his rank internationally, now that Eddy Kenzo was proving to be a force to reckon, he said that he was not sure about that but would comment after a team that is investigating that development gets back to him, otherwise, when it comes to numbers, he is no longer number one but numberless.

Chameleone will be live at serena Hotel on December 18, 2014 and the amount to access Serena that night will be 1,000,000/- shillings per head.

Chameleone showing off his money

Our local celebs have been showcasing one thing or the other lately, if it's not their nud# bodies, it's baby bumps, flat tummies, booties, rides and so on, but Chameleone is doing it differently and that is by handling a wad of cash.

The Wale Wale singer was a few days spotted at Serena Hotel with Shs 80 million after selling 80 tickets for his December 18 One Million Show. When Chameleone announced his concert date and price, Bebe Cool released posters for his Best of Bebe Cool show indicating packages way higher than Chameleone's.

For example, he has the VIP going for 3 million, the xTRa Large going for 5 million and the general happiness which is 50,000, but these could change hours before the concert. Payment at the entrance will be 100,000/- according to insider sources, so for affordable tickets, better to try your luck today.

Chameleon's is a single payment plan, so there's no need to rush as the price is strictly one million, no more no less.

Jose Chameleone's One Man show

Chameleone's Shs 1,000/- show in the offing

After announcing the One-Million-Show slated for this December, Chameleone's fans went up in arms saying this was not right. One of them recalled of how he got his current wife from a Chameleone concert and today, they are blessed with a baby boy. The Chameleone ardent fan adds that he has never missed any concert by the music doctor but with the one million charge, he will gladly miss this one.

Just like many of Chameleone fans out there, they say that one million shillings for a show is way too much. It's against this background that Chameleone has decided to come up with a charity show of shs 1,000/- per head that will cater for those who will miss the Serena show details of which Chamili will communicate later.

"Started as a Rumour, I CONFIRM now!!! The sky has never been no limit!!! For my folks that will miss out on this SHOWDOWN, Never worry there is another charity do coming up soon!! 1 man ,1 show,1 thousand. Those up for this, We are Loading Ugandan music on Record," Chameleone wrote on his wall confirming the developments.

But even after hinting on the 1K/- show, some fans are like that is even worse, it will be so crowded...! During these shows, Chameleone will be performing with some of the artistes he has collaborated with like Papa Cidy, Radio and Weasel to mention but a few.

Come and learn something from my show, Bebe Cool tells Chameleone and Bobi Wine

Bebe Cool has once again brought back the Neighbour (A,B) 'wars'. Two years back, these wars were about cribs, boats and lyrical attacks, but now, Serena Hotel has turned out to be the battle ground. It should be noted at this point that Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA) banned all outdoor concerts making Serena Hotel a preferred venue for concerts.

Since April, Bebe Cool has been preparing for his Best of Bebe Cool (BBC) concert that will be held next month at Serena Hotel, Kampala. During his Unplugged show at Club Silk recently, Jose Chameleone revealed that he will be having a show on December 19, 2014 and the charge per head will be shs 1M/-, a price that has set tongues wagging, but Chameleone says it's not a show for those who cannot afford.

Bebe Cool has now invited 'A'-Chameleone and 'B'-Bobi Wine to his concert as there is quite a lot for them to learn when it comes to stage performances and singing. In his post, Bebe Cool says:

"My neighbor A n B, it is at this point that I warn you that u should book your tables now for the 8th AUG BBC-888 coz the way things r going, it would be unfair if I don't warn u that the tables r getting finished yet on that day, there is a lot for u to learn when it comes to singing/performing and am opening a new page/chapter. I know one of the two is not SERENA material but it's good for u to learn from the BEST."

The 'Wale Wale' singer and the One Love Beach proprietor are yet to respond to Neighbour 'C'. Watch this space!

Sudhir Ruparelia and Chameleone strike a pose

Details of how Chameleone came up with the idea of the 'One Million Show' have emerged.

Two weeks back, Chameleone was spotted with East Africa's richest man, and number 24 in Africa, Sudhir Ruparelia busy chatting the evening away and the billionaire whose net worth is $1.1Bn as of today gave him a few ideas.

Now that concerts are slowly becoming more of an indoor as opposed to an outdoor affair, many patrons who have otherwise been missing out for different reasons are going to start embracing these shows. Sudhir Ruparelia whose conglomerate is spreading to Rwanda after Crane Bank opened a branch there will be one of the notables on the 'One Man One Night One show' slated for the December 19, 2014.

Chameleone also had a message for any doubting Thomas out there:

"I have never asked or even debated with any business institution how they determine their prices of their commodities. The One man, One Night, One Show, is NOT for anybody below affordance. Honestly, it's for the loyal fans and the crowd that can't come to the other usual venues."

Assuming the billionaire pays for just one person from each of the companies that he owns (taking care of the partners too) the numbers would already be adding up.

Chameleone concluded: "But I'm also very glad it's the doubtful ones debating about it and doing me free advertisement unknowingly."

Weasel, Chameleone and Radio during the Club Silk Unplugged

Launch: Chameleone Photos

The Tubonge star singer, Jose Chameleone, is such a busy artiste. Last Thursday, after his Unplugged show at Club Silk where he shared a stage with Radio and Weasel, he went for a performance in Tanzania the following day. Remember, this is the very country where he got a serious leg injury in 2008, but trust the Vumilia singer, he will always be there for his fans.

During the Unplugged show, Chameleone announced that he will hold a 'One Man, One Show, One Stage, One Million' concert at Serena Hotel on December 19, 2014 and patrons will be paying shs 1.000,000/- just like his name seems to suggest when he is not changing colour. This will be the most expensive show ever in the history of Uganda music.

Given the timing, Kampala will be flooded with lots of 'Ba Summers' who will be on holiday for the festive season, though we will be watching that space to see how the music heavy weight pulls it off at that price.

Juliana and Desire have given Serena a try and they all have their experiences about the' new trend' on the block and next month, Bebe Cool will be in the same venue.

Meanwhile, Chameleoene's new manager ensures that his artiste reserves all the energy for stage performances to the point that he won't even allow him carry the hand luggage.

Chameleone, Weasel and Moze Radio performance at Venom

Weasel is my brother, Moze Radio is my friend, I love them both - Chameleone.

Club Venom was fully packed for the Jose Chameleone Amplified night. Bobi Wine and Barbie graced the event. A host of other artistes that included; Micki Wine, Khalifa Aganaga and Coco Finger among others were the curtain raisers.

The music doctor hit the stage doing his old and new songs as fans were singing and dancing along while others recorded the moment on their smart phones.

Then came that moment when he invited his brother Weasel Manizle to do the “Bomboclat” song which they did way back before the Goodlyfe Crew was formed.

Chameleone told the crowd that ‘blood is thicker than water’, they hugged and went on to do the Bomboclat song.

Then Moze Radio was invited to the stage sending the crowd into wild cheers, the three (Moze, Weasel and Chameleone) did ‘Talk and Talk’

Chameleone then called all the artistes that were in the house for a group photo. Papa Cidy, Bobi Wine, Weasel, Banjo Man, Coco Finger, BigEye, Micki Wine and Moze Radio were in the photo.

The trio then went on to perform their latest song ‘Tukikole Neera, Neera Neera’ and for a greater part of this song, Chameleone was carrying Weasel on his back and later Moze Radio.

He invited his Vice President, Papa Cidy to do their latest collaboration song, 'Nishike Mukononi. 'Mama Mia' that made some drunkards sober up was performed next. Chameleone wrapped up the show with Kipepeo but as the song was starting, Weasel again bounced back to do the starting lines.

Radio, Chameleone and Weasel are in studio

        Three Artists. One Song!

Moze Radio and Weasel who are from Rwanda have embarked on another project with Chameleone who has also been on a Tubonge tour in Europe.

The song will have the creative element of the three artists like it was in the case when the three were still together before breaking away from Chameleone to form The Goodlyfe Crew.

Tough times call for tough measures. With the Goodlyfe Crew having issues at the moment in their camp, Leone Island members that include Chameleone's brother, AK47, quitting the crew, Moze Radio, Weasel and Chameleone are paying heed to the call of fans.

Music lovers kept on telling them that all they want is music and not these fights that dominated front pages the whole of last week. Could this collaboration song be one of the steps to give the fans what they want, may be yes!

Chameleone has added his voice to the Goodlyfe issues

                     Chameleone Speaks Out

Moze Radio started Monday Morning with a beating from his ex-manager, Jeff Kiwa who was arrested together with AK-47. They were released and a few hours later, another fight was reported at their Makindye based home prompting police to intervene again. This time around, Moze Radio was arrested.

Their mentor and music doctor who is on a Tubonge Tour in Europe and currently in Brussels has spoken out.

"As the year rolls, we are observing a number of events Musically, Socially and in every aspect, we are all trying to be better than what we were yesterday. I personally have been observing more the changes our industry is facing, whether positive or negative, we can always handle."

Earlier reports claimed that Chameleone had intimated on Moze Radio being the best singer in the Goodlyfe crew, an allegation he was quick to dispel.

"Personally I am not going to judge who is right, wrong, better, best etc and I request all people speaking on my behalf to STOP giving my opinion falsely."

"However, every one knows that I wasn't there when all this started and can't just come in between to Judge. As a brother who wishes the best for Gudlyf, I feel sorry for all that's happening. We have all been through hard times and challenges. All we can do now is wish them the best out of this."

Last Saturday was the Kilimanjaro Tanzania Music Awards (KTMA) 2014. Jose Chameleone's 'Tubonge' song was voted the best East African song. The star singer picked up the award himself as he was in TZ for two Tubonge live shows.

Chameleone was on the line up of artistes at the Amaaso concert which had two of his brothers (Weasel and Pallaso) performing, but he could not make it. The singer sent his wife to represent him as noted in his earlier message.

Weasel all smiles on seeing his brother, Pius Mayanja aka Pallaso

US based RnB and Reggae artist, Pius Mayanja, aka Pallaso is in town ahead of the Amaaso-Ntunga launch. Moze Radio and Weasel will be holding their album launch on 2.May.2014 at Hotel Africana, People's space arena. The dynamic duo took home five Zzina awards accolades, three of which were stemming from their collaboration song, 'Amaaso' which they did with Pallaso.

Pallaso is a former member of Jose Chameleone's Leone Island Music Empire and he used to go by the stage name Pius Lizard. At the time, Chameleone (who turned 30 today!) only signed those with reptile names.

His biggest following is in the states of Maine, Colorado, Chicago and New Hampshire among others. However, courtesy of his Amaaso hit, his support back home has increased steadily. Pius has two more collabos dominating airwaves. 'Mundongo' that he did with Sheebah Karungi and 'Omungongo' with his brother Weasel are making rounds on several radio stations.

Their parents were more than excited to receive their son who for long had been at loggerheads with his brothers back home, but all that is behind them and all they are doing now is music.

Chameleone's BTI card

Looking at Chameleone's BTI card, you could easily think that he has already signed up for the National ID card better known as a Kitambulisho, but, it's the Busoga Tourism Initiative (BTI) card. It should be recalled that just recently, the speaker of Parliament, Hon. Rebecca Kadaga appointed the 'Vumilia' singer, Jose Cameleone as the Busoga Ambassador.

The choice of Chameleone as the Busoga Ambassador got tongues wagging with many wondering why Chameleone, who is not a Musoga had to be chosen to promote Busoga's tourist sites and yet we've got quite a number of artistes hailing from that region. Rachel Magoola of the 'Obangaina Fame', Afande Mega Dee, Maurice Kirya and fast rising star, Maro, the 'Kyokoba' singer among others.

The organisers are looking at how popular one was and that's why they chose Chameleone, a Ugandan who is popular in the country and abroad.

Chameleone is now appealing to every one, friends and fans to register for the Kagulu Rock Climbing Challenge that will be taking place in May 2014.

"I am greatly honored to be using my office as Ambassador of Busoga Tourism Initiative as appointed by the RT. Honourable speaker of parliament to invite all of my friends to register at the Uganda Tourism Board offices at the National Theatre for the thrilling Kagulu Rock Climbing Challenge that is to take place on the 9th and 10th May. Leone Island fans join me as we build Tourism in Uganda."

Meanwhile, his 'Leone' Cadillac Escalade has been released as it was spotted along Entebbe road. It had been attached over a 7m tax, but all that is now behind him.

Tubonge costume VS. Coccidiosis

Bebe Cool's campaign of 'Play Ugandan Music More or You're Shunned' had stolen the limelight from Chameleone's successful 'Tubonge' concerts which saw fans at Lugogo Cricket Oval soaked by rain all in support of his music.

But, trust the World Music Awards nominee, he made sure he adds his voice to the campaign that was started by Bebe Cool. Chameleone seems to agree with Bebe though his message is communicated differently and at this rate, we could see the music doctor giving the 'Nkola Byafayo' star a run for his money through his post.

Chameleone's Views:

"I stand as a musician to the best of my music knowledge. When we ask to take charge of our industry we also have in mind that we are NOT asking for segregation of foreign music."

"We just deserve a fair share of an industry that we have stood by against all odds. In such an exchange we also know that our products are not to what many can call "standards" but also it's partially every Ugandans duty to contribute to our growth evenly. It's not about Nigerian, Jamaican, South African, American or whatsoever."

"It's about Uganda and what's ours. Example if your father is broke, would you seek a richer dad? We stand together, Grow together if we are to fall together. Lets be patriotic and grow our music."

Revellers at Chameleone's Tubonge concert being soaked by rain
The weather did not cooperate with Chameleone's Tubonge preparations. After battling with court bailiffs on Friday afternoon who came to attach his Escalade, Chameleone was faced with weather-related woes.

At about 10:00pm, as the Tubonge star hit the stage, it started raining heavily, but most fans did not move an inch. Lugogo Cricket Oval had about 8,000 revellers who were dancing and singing along to sounds of Kipepeo, Dorotia, Bayuda, Valu-Valu and Tubonge among others.

Her performed for two hours. AK47, Micki Wine, Khalifa Aganaga, Fille Clear, Geoffrey Lutaaya, The Goodlyfe Crew and Bobi Wine were among the other performers for the night.

Thanking his fans for the massive attendance, Chameleone had this to say: "As God blessed us with a rain shower we kept moving!!!! I am so happy and want to thank all my friends who endured the rain for me the TUBONGE PRIDE is yours may God bless you all. I love you all. We made HISTORY."

Today, Chameleone is in Mukono and tomorrow, he will be performing live at Resort Beach in Entebbe.

Chameleone's Escalade impounded by URA

Hours to the Tubonge concert, officials from Uganda Revenue Authority (URA) stormed Lugogo Cricket Oval where Jose Chameleone was busy rehearsing and testing his vocal range before being disrupted.

Chameleone was told that due to his outstanding value added tax, they were impounding his SUV, which can ONLY be released after paying the shs7m he owes to URA. Chameleone tried giving them the BMW that was donated to him by Meddie Ssentongo claiming it was worth Shs70m, but the officials did not buy any of that.

"Chameleone has been elusive from the time of the Badilisha launch last year, so, getting him at the Tubonge show was the only option left, " one official said.

Chameleone later allowed them to take the Escalade but on condition that it was not towed. "I'm ready to pay the taxes though they have to tell me how they arrived at that figure," chameleone said.

Meanwhile, the turn up is very good at the Tubonge show with fans dancing in the rain to sounds of Kipepeo. He started an hour back.

"It's evidential that music is a global language and is also a tool that is relevant to today's society unlike the past where Musicians were not respected in sects of development. Edward Baliddawa and the various honourables as they nominated me to be the esteemed Ambassador of Busoga Tourism," Chameleone who could not hide his excitement noted.

Chameleone showing off his awards

Star singer Jose Chameleone has scoffed at those claiming he was involved in a car accident yesterday.

"On your way to greatness you can only get there by associating yourself to winners NOT losers. I am standing against Lugogo Cricket Oval on the 28th March which I think is also a good step for our music as Ugandans since foreign artistes have dominated this venue but some foolish Ugandans don't want us to grow!!!!!!! Be ashamed for this and stop spreading rumours that I got involved in an accident today (Mar 20)."

Chameleone goes on to say: "I was home with my family playing my fatherly duties!!!! Why do you always plant evil against every good works of a man. Please I'm a Ugandan, why all this hate to  the extent of wishing me the worst!!!! Swallow your failures and work on them, I have never been an obstacle to your success."

Chameleone concluded by letting his fans know that nothing was going to stop the show and that he is in fully charged. "My fans and well wishers, nothing is going to stop this show we are still in charge!"

Chameleone denies fathering Naila Salim's daughter, undergoes DNA testing to prove innocence.

Jose Chameleone has vehemently denied being a father to video vixen, Naila Salim's four-year-old daughter and to prove his innocence, he went for DNA testing. Naila (23) dragged Chamili to FIDA accusing him of child neglect.

Test results were released on January 24, 2014 and they excluded the Tubonge star as the biological father to Naila Salim's daughter. Naila featured in Chameleone's 'Vumilia' and 'Nkwagala Nyo' videos.

Much as the results have ruled out Chameleone as the biological father his accuser is sure that the 'Tubonge' star is the dad and her family maintains, she had not been with any other man. Chameleone has five children, four with Daniella and one with his ex, Onsea Griet better known as Dorotia.

Meanwhile, the number of people accessing DNA services has gone up based on the recent happenings.

Tubonge star is mourning the death of his close pal, ADAM KEITA, following his death on Tuesday (04Feb14).

Chameleone mourns death of Adam Keita

The Rastaman, famed for his appearance in Chameleone's 'Jamila' video and also playing a big part in the star's music journey, died after collapsing near Rubaga filling station and Chameleone has been left heart broken by the sad news.

In his Wednesday (05Feb14) post, the singer reveals of how he has not forgotten how far they have come. Chameleone talks of their childhood times, and how Keita promoted him in Nairobi.

He writes: "RIP comrade "Adam Keita" We came along way as kids from Nakasero Primary when we met as childhood friends, We further grew into boys and still kept the relationship as friends."

"You Introduced me to the streets, and promoted me to Nairobi as a hustler on the "Mawingo bus" I returned as a brother and we together planned the "Jamila" video in which your face will remain for life even when you gone. May the almighty father keep your soul in eternal peace."

Juliana Kanyomozi was also a friend to Keita and very saddened that no one had told her about his condition. Keita had been ill for sometime.

Juliana writes: "Adam Keita.. It is so sad you are gone. You were such a wonderful soul, every time I saw you ,you had this big smile on yo face. You always reminded me of my late cousin brother prince Roger (R.I.P), jus like him, you lit up a room when u walked in. Jus like him, everyone in Kampala was your friend. Rich, poor, big, small, black, white, famous, powerful you name them."

"But it breaks me that you died in such conditions. You didn't deserve that. Someone should have said something. I'm sure we would have joined hands to help a good brother out. Sleep well Adam Keita. R.I.P"

Chameleone and Davido out new single
One of Chameleone's resolutions for the new year was to keep you on the floor with his music ability. His latest single with Nigeria's Davido is done.

"New hit 2014 activated All Di Girls, Chameleone and Davido," the 'Tubonge' singer noted on his instagram account. It's a new year and new music rocking all the way. On Thursday evening, he was seeking views from his fans on when to drop the new single.

Juliana, Bebe Cool, Bobi Wine and Cindy have all sampled their songs in the new year. However, teaming up with foreign artists seems to be the in thing now.

Bobi Wine, Cindy and Mr. G have their 'Dilemma' doing well so far and now Chameleone with Davido. Davido was here last Decemeber to face off with Chameleone in what they termed as the 'War of Titans', a club beer-sponsored event. Unfortunately, the turn up was low after the show was cancelled by KCCA.

They later gave them a go ahead, but it was too late.

Chameleone and Daniella at a top hang out joint
Star singer Jose Chameleone is all set for the March 28 Tubonge album launch. The theme for 2014 is Tubonge which is as good as making peace. He started off with a call to his namesake, LRA rebel leader, Joseph Kony when he went to CAR asking him to denounce war and come back home, but Kony is yet to respond to that call.

Chameleone did not stop at that, he also went on to reconcile with his brothers, Weasel and Pallaso. Several family meetings had failed to unite them, but for now, It's Tubonge. Pallaso is the one behind the 'Amaaso' song with the Goodlyfe Crew.

Chameleone has also made peace with Moze Radio and they've already had performances together confirming that they've left their past behind them. Moze Radio was particularly on Chameleone's case over the Karamagi case.

The whole of last year, Chameleone spent a greater part of it worrying about the case of Robert Karamagi who allegedly torched himself from the singer's sitting room on Dec 26, 2012. He later died from those burns.

The latest information regarding that case is that all evidence that was gathered was inconsistent and contradicting. "We re-evaluated all the evidence, but it's contradicting and inconsistent. We have not found any evidence and therefore we directed the police to close the file," Ms Jane Kabugo, the DPP spokesperson said.

The 'Tubonge' star, Jose Chameleone spent a greater part of yesterday at Bobi Wine's One Love Beach in Busabala. They were joined by Meddie Ssentongo, AK47 and a host of other guests.

Early in the day, Barbie invited all that wished to rub shoulders with top musicians to join them. ''We have Bobi Wine and some surprise musician visitors coming in for their first time today. Want to rub shoulders? Come through today. You are all welcome."

Bobi took Chameleone on a guided tour of One Love beach discussing in details what future plans he had in the best place to eat chips and fish in Busabala. The two stars in the company of Meddie Ssentongo went for a boat cruise touring areas around the beach as he told him of his expansion plans.

They later settled for fish, chips sending it down with a wide assortment of drinks with background music that included some of their top hits. Chameleone, then, told him; 'Let's march to the 28th Mar Tubonge date.

Amma in his new 'Escalade'

Like Father, Like Son.

Chameleone's seven-months-old son, Amma Christian Mayanja is a proud owner of a ''Cadillac Escalade'' courtesy of Santa Claus. The power wheels Cadillac has a working FM station and rear sound boosting speakers that will transmit hits like 'Tubonge'.

It's suitable for ages between 3 to 5, but with Amma less than a year old, it's yet to be seen if he will enjoy the ride. It comes with a 12-volt battery and charger.

''You just won yourself a brand new Cadillac Escalade son with love from Dad,'' Chameleone wrote as he shared the shots on instagram.

One fan said to him that: "You're a real Dad," and his reply was: "Our joy lies in seeing the future bright."

Bebe Cool chatting with Moze Radio as Zuena looks on

During the Battle of Champions press briefing at Alfredoz bar last year, Bebe Cool was asked which Goodlyfe song he loved most and he said it was 'Zuena'.

The year 2014 has seen the Goodlyfe Crew of Moze Radio and Weasel make peace with Chameleone and Bebe Cool. Now this simply means more music coming out of these top artistes and not just any music, but we could see a collaboration between Bebe Cool and the Goodlyfe, The Goodlyfe and Chameleone something that was next to impossible.

Bebe Cool loves the way his wife Zuena dances to the 'Zuena' song when it's playing in club, so this could be one of the awesome collaborations coming out of this union.

However, there is still more that needs to be done for Bebe Cool to come to terms with Chameleone and Bobi Wine. During the Battle, Chameleone's remarks were evident that he still had issues with Bebe Cool.

Then, during the celebrations to usher in the new year at Sheraton hotel, Bobi Wine was like; "Bad Man Tawagira Bisiyaga..." clearly pointing at Bebe Cool's recent remarks on the gay-bill that is before the President.

Moze Radio, Weasel and Chameleone at Sheraton during the new year celebrations
The year 2014 is likely to be a peaceful year. Chameleone, Radio and Weasel were last night performing on the same stage at Sheraton hotel during the celebrations ushering in the new year.

Earlier on, Radio and Weasel said: "2013 has been a wonderful year for us, musically, socially and financially. We've hit marks, we've accomplished goals, we've grown stronger and bigger and best of all, we are alive." The Goodlyfe Crew have also made peace with Bebe Cool, and to confirm this, they performed together on Boxing Day.

On Thursday, there were reports that Weasel had beaten up fast rising star, Khalifa Aganaga, but the boys were quick to clear this; @Some people are posting on social networks that Weasel had a fight with Khalifa, it's not true and it will never happen, keep on dreaming though.

So far so good, and we only hope it remains this way as this is only the first day of the year.

Chameleone and Davido performing at Kyadondo Rugby Grounds

First it was Mun G who performed his hit song; ‘babes bees looking gooood.... and flashed the mic for the audience to sing along at the 'Sejjusa' concert but the response from the 180 revelers was not loud enough.

Then came yesterday, the music doctor was faced with a similar fate of a low turn up of fans who came to witness the Battle between him and Nigeria’s Davido. Trouble stemmed from the KCCA security operatives and the police who cancelled the show after the organizers had failed to liaise with them on the closing time.

It was later resolved that the show was to take place and at about 5pm, Chameleone communicated using his wall; "KCCA Has sealed it up!! we got the green grass and the green light, Davido in th blue corner, Chameleone in the red corner."

Unfortunately, at the time, most show-goers had kind of switched. At about 11pm, just one hour to the end of the show, one could think that the show was yet to start. Meanwhile, those who turned up were enjoying hits from Chameleone and Davido who performed; 'Gobe' and 'Skelewu' among others.

Earlier reports of cancelling the concert are widely responsible for the low turn up of the Club sponsored event and to a smaller extent, some could be saving for Christmas which is around the corner.

War of Titans Is On - Chameleone

Chameleone has urged his fans to turn up in large numbers for the War of Titans between him and Nigeria's Davido tonight at Kyadondo Rugby Grounds.

Security operatives from KCCA were last evening seen at Kyadondo Rugby Grounds, the venue for the 'War of Titans' asking the organisers to pull down the stage on the grounds that they had failed to liaise with police on the closing time for the show. However, looks like all that has been sorted.

This is what Chameleone wrote: "My 13 years music experience and God's will has broken many barriers and lifted me a height that when you look down to where it all started, I thank God, my family, fans and friends who have built a rock in me to challenge all odds."

This is another barrier he has broken and from Davido's last tweet which is not clear, he seemed to be equally perplexed by the developments, but this is all behind them and the show is on.

Chameleone concludes: "As anticipated for the fans, the time is here when together we are facing Davido, a comrade and celebrated African artiste as we represent the East Africa. Today the lion is roaring!!!"

The Goodlyfe Crew are drumming up support for Bebe Cool's Tondeka Ekiwatule show
Mandela is a celebrated symbol of peace and democracy the world over. He will be laid to rest today. However, the last 10 days which also coincide with his mourning period in South Africa have had an impact on some people here in the political and music circles. The Lord Mayor, Erias Lukwago, is pursuing peaceful talks with Government  following his impeachment. This means less pink tear–gas or none at all.

In the same period, we’ve seen Chameleone reconciling with the Goodlyfe duo of Moze Radio and Weasel who have been at war since 2008 when they left his crew, Leone Island. Five days later, Bebe Cool also made peace with Radio and Weasel. This happened in a span of hours after battling with them musically. It should be recalled that these are the guys he once beat up for composing the ‘Zuena’ song. Zuena is Bebe Cool's dear wife and the mom to his three kids and will do anything to protect her, Connie Nankya, will soon tell her story.

During the Battle of the Champions (Bebe Cool's) press conference at Alfredoz Bar in Bukoto, he was asked which song he liked most from the Goodlyfe Crew, he said; 'Zuena' attracting wild cheers. He added that he enjoys the way she wiggles to the song as it’s being played in club.

Isn’t that amazing!  Meanwhile, every December 26, Bebe Cool performs at Kiwatule Recreational Centre and what is more amazing, this time around, it is Radio and Weasel drumming up support for the show in the radio advert.

“Tondekka Ekiwatule Embuzzi yangeeee People are you ready! Kiwatule So…Magnetic..Yoyoyo Bampita Weasel Manizle from the Goodlyfe Tugenda Okubera Ekiwatuule alongside Gagamel Tubakube Omuzik,” is the ad doing rounds on several stations. Interestingly, Bebe Cool does not feature anywhere in the ad and yet he is the main act.

This will be one show not to miss as hits like ‘Amaaso’, ‘Magnetic’, ‘Bogolako’, ‘Kasepiki’ and 'Zuena’ will be played live on Boxing day. On that day, the former rivals will even sample some of the tracks they’ve recorded together.

However, some fans are still skeptical about the whole move. Last Sunday, The Goodlyfe Crew were to perform in Entebbe, the last leg for the Battle of Champions but they were a no-show,  so, many will only believe this hype when it happens.

Chameleone holding a placard dissing Bebe Cool

Last Friday was the Battle of the Champions between Bebe Cool and the Goodlyfe Crew which Chameleone attended. However, the 'Tubonge' singer opted out after a misunderstanding with the organisers and instead went for the 'Battle' which was taking place in the same vicinity .

It's on record, Chameleone is not on good terms with any of the Battle contenders but he sided with the Goodlyfe Crew that has his young brother, Weasel, confirming that blood is thicker than water. The Goodlyfe Crew performed all their songs and at some point, their MC announced that they were done, but Bebe Cool still had over 40 songs which he performed up to 4:00am.

“I am a prime witness to Ugandan Music! And I love to see it grow! Is the reason I scout able talent. I am proud to be part of the Weasel and Radio Team! I had a blast at the Battle. I was your biggest believer before the world accepted that ...talent! Even when you fail, you are a winner to me, but am also very glad that you have never failed,” Chameleone wrote on his wall.

To confirm that he believed in the Goodlyfe Crew before any one believed them, he held an 'RIP BebeCool, 100%Fool' placard sealing his support for his brother and his 'good friend', Moze Radio.

Meanwhile, the Goodlyfe Crew did not show up for the Entebbe show claiming that they were not paid their balance, something that let a number of their fans disapointed after gracing long hours in the jam on Entebbe road. Bebe Cool is now asking, who is next, could this be the reason Chameleone behaved that way, only time will tell.

Jose Chameleone is on his last music tour this year. The 'Tubonge' singer left for Istanbul Turkey on Saturday ahead of his show on December 01, 2013.

Chameleone will be perfuming with the 'Nalisikimanyi' singer also his young brother AK47. Two weeks back, Chameleone was in Nairobi where he left his fans yearning for the Tubonge hit, his latest gospel swahili song. It's video is already out and the fans are loving it.

Meanwhile, in June, Bobi Wine was in Istanbul, the largest city in Turkey for a show with his wife Barbie but as the couple hit the streets to tour the Istanbul attractions, they were caught up in demonstrations by activists that saw the Turkish police fire rounds of tear-gas to disperse a huge crowd.

These were Bobi Wine's words: "If am to compare this to Kaihuraz tear gas, u would agree with me that this Turkish tear gas is just smelling like chocolate."

Morgan

Chameleone's kids have in the last two weeks been excelling in different skills at their Greenhill Academy school. Abba was recognized as 'Sportsman of the Year' while Alfa was awarded a certificate of recognition for his outstanding performance in a play, 'Patras Glass Slipper'.

The 'Badilisha' singer took to his wall to share the good news. To the sportsman, he had this to say: "As a father, It's first priority to guide my sons so they attain personal goals, develop self-confidence and individual strength. I will support you all the way, Congratulations Abba Marcus Mayanja for your achievement. Hard work will always pay. The Sky is the limit."

And to the actor, Chameleone wrote: "A Child is a reflection of their Parents and we are a proud family again! I Congratulate you Alfa Joseph Mayanja for the certificate you have earned out of your outstanding performance at your school play." The 'Tubonge' singer went on to thank Greenhill Academy for their efforts.

Last Sunday was Bukedde's Embuutu Y'Embuutikizi and Jose Chameleone's 'Badilisha' song was voted as the 'Song of the Year' taking with him shs 5m prize money. The singer who sprained his foot a few weeks back did not disappoint his fans as he performed on crutches with one leg heavily bandaged.

It's me again with the Song of the Year, 'Badilisha' as awarded by the Vision Media Group. Chameleone revealed that this was the fifth award he was getting in just this one year.

Badilisha was the East Africa 'Song of the Year' in the Kilimanjaro awards and also KISIMA awards, International Artiste of the Year in Africa Music Awards North America. Chameleone also won 'The Best International Act' in the recently concluded BEFFTA awards in the UK.

Comedian Anne Kansiime wins a BEFFTA award for best comedian

Yesterday was the Black Entertainment, Film, Fashion, Television and Arts (BEFFTA) 2013 awards that were held at The Hippodrome in London. Comedian Anne Kansiime emerged the winner of 'Best Comedian' beating the likes of Richard Blackhood and Don't Jelous Me among others.

In her acceptance speech, Anne used a strong Western Uganda accent stating how much she valued the award and the more reason she came in person. On her wall, she wrote: "I won my dearest Ninjas!! Thank you so much for the love!! I swear, I will not cheat on you."

This has been Anne's year. Just a few days back, she was introducing her lover, Gerald to her parents in Kasese something that got her fans excited though it took time for some to actually know that it was real and not a comedy stint

In a related development, Jose Chameleone has also won a BEFFTA award beating last year's winner, Juliana Kanyomozi to take the 'Best International Act'.

"It's hard to fully express my gratitude towards all of you who appreciate my music, and love African music at large. You are the reason I have managed to add another on to my list and rankings. Am fresh and still jubilating with you this joyous feeling in me, I congratulate my fans worldwide, we did this together," Chameleone said while thanking his fans worldwide

Ex Tusker Project Fame contestant, Grey Naava was among the nominees for the 'Best International Act'.

Chameleone to battle Davido
You are yet to see more music battles at this rate. As the Goodlyfe Crew and Bebe Cool are yet to sort themselves in the Battle of the Champions on Dec 6, Bebe Cool will be traveling to Zimbabwe tomorrow for a music battle with Nigeria's D'Banj at this years' beer festival that will take place on Oct. 26, 2013. He will travel with his Gagamel band.

Chameleone who is watching that move closely has also announced that he will be battling West Africa's Davido on 20 December, 2013 in what he's calling the 'Battle of the Titans'. Davido is known for hits like 'Skelewu'.

Communicating about this development, the 'Tubonge' singer said: "Battle of the Titans W. Africa Davido VS. Chameleone E. Africa music Clash 20th Dec Kampala,"

Bebe Cool's camp was quick to belittle the move saying that they set the trend and now Chameleone's camp is following in their footsteps. "Chameleone is having sleepless nights from the time he learnt of Bebe Cool battling with D'Banj in the 'Battle of Africa," one wrote.

The rivalry between musicians has been on and it's not about to stop. It's something they use to garner publicity though one has to be careful how they play their cards not to end up being remembered less for their music and more for attacking fellow artistes.

Chameleone's message to Joseph Kony

On Tuesday, Chameleone went to Central African Republic as a music militant to deliver a message to Joseph Kony who is also one of his fans, and as we write, Kony has added Chameleone's latest gospel single; 'Tubonge' to his play list. In Kenya, Tubonge means let's talk and here in Uganda, it's a fist bump or form of handshake.

"Your Mama, Baba and family is waiting for you, Don't suffer out there thinking nobody cares for you, It's been long since you've been gone, what a sight seeing you come home. You are more than welcome home, we got a lot together to do, " was part of Chameleone's message to the LRA leader.

Chameleone's peace mission got his fans excited about the bold move he had taken. "I am simply a Ugandan waiting for my brothers in the LRA to come home. You are forgiven. It is time for peace." Chameleone concluded before embarking on his next trip to South Sudan where he was set to launch his 'Tubonge' hit.

The Badilisha singer was performing at Nyakuron Stadium on Friday night and among the songs he did was Tubonge.

Daniella shows off her tattoo
Daniella has got tattoos in honour of their kids.

Do you love your kids to the extent of branding your skin permanently with their names, that's what Chameleone's wife, Daniella Atimango Mayanja did a few days back. Daniella has all the three names of her kids; Abba, Alfa and Alba on her left shoulder blade.

Chameleone who went for a few hours to Central African Republic on a peace mission wrote that: 'True love never hides, family business' as he shared his wife's tat.

Zari has the initials of her three boys at the back of her neck while Sheila Ferguson (Rabadaba's Ex) has inked 'Kyle' on her right arm and 'Tabzy' on her upper thigh, though Zari might have to do a bit of explaining for some of the tattoos if the kids happen to land on them.

Bobi Wine's wife, Barbie Kyagulanyi inked her entire back with a portrait of her boo. This was Barbie's present to Bobi on their wedding day and thanking him for the love.

Chameleone with a US cop before take off to the CAR

Star singer Joseph Mayanja aka Chameleone is off for a show to the Central African Republic (CAR) just hours after releasing his latest Swahili gospel single; 'Tubonge'. Fans across Africa are looking forward to it especially the countries where he has been recently like Zambia, Congo and Malawi among others.

The singer is currently nursing a sprained foot but this has not affected his schedule in any way. He is still a force to reckon even while performing in one position if his last performance at the Resort Beach in Buloba is anything to go by. Clad in a Michael Jackson 'BAD' jacket, the Tubonge singer left fans yearning for more. The message was clear, He's Bad!

Before taking off to Central African Republic where the Lords Resistance Army (LRA) leader and also his namesake, Joseph Kony, is believed to be hiding, the 'Badilisha' singer was positive that through his music, he could easily get to talk to the war lord and convince him to pursue peaceful means.

"As I leave for Central African Republic this morning, I want to thank my fans worldwide for sending me to duties that can make us all proud. It's the most relevant issue now. KONY 2012, and as a Music militant am off to meet My UGANDAN folk.. For we nationalists we know that PEACE is the way forward. I'm proud to be part of this revolutionary transition-KONY 2012," Chameleone wrote.

A few days back, the Lango Paramount Chief, Yosam Odur, offered Kony free land for him to come and settle if only he could abandon the war and crimes against humanity.

"This is what I mean# Am BAD! Am Bad you know it"

I'm not in a wheel chair - Chameleone
"..Whosoever is telling lies about my health using my old accident pictures is chasing wind! Learn to tell the difference between a sprain and what you are confusing the world with."

Chameleone has made a comment concerning his health condition. Leone Island fans have for the last two days been in shock wondering how their super star will perform while confined in a wheel chair.

I'm not in a terrifying condition as you put it, I only got a minor sprain which had to be checked.

"I am the Challenge that makes them talk, when they feel no hope to out challenge this unstoppable Multi Talented, lanky, African Superstar. Like the principle to fruitful destiny goes, works NOT words! I am aiming at being better everyday No matter what they say - I have this driving force I can't help - MUSIC."

The 'Badilisha' star is busy perfecting his saxophonist skills with the help of Jazz maestro Isaiah Katumwa, so the Leone Island fans should keep it locked for what will come out of his newly acquired skills.

Meanwhile, Chameleone, Juliana Kanyomozi and Naava were a few days back nominated in the BEFFTA 2013 awards.

Bobi Wine at a recent function

As Chameleone and Bebe Cool were busy sorting themselves on whose house is incomplete and who is staying at their in-laws, Bobi Wine was deep in rehearsals for The Ebonies latest play, 'Ensabattula' that will be showing in London (Manor Park Royal Regency Hall) on Sept 28, 2013 and on October 5, 2013, at Dhow Palace Hotel in Dubai.

Bobi Wine has also been coordinating a series of activities that range from preparing for the forthcoming KCCA Carnival following his endorsement as the Kampala Capital City Carnival Celebrity. On the same day, he carried out the Ghetto voice search and later in the day,he joined his wife to watch their Ghetto Reality show on Bukedde TV. A drink-up with his fans followed at Plat4fm Club in Kamwokya.

The Ghetto gladiator then wrapped up the day with the announcement of the 'Akalimu' Concert using Bebe Cool's line; 'Elyaato Lyakabenje' that is aimed at Bobi Wine with his yacht. This announcement was timely as it was meant to try and divert attention from Bebe Cool and Chameleone wars that had taken over the social network sites by storm but it was not easy.

"..... Kale no'lwensonga eyo, buli ategede ategeeze munne, nti Nannyini LYAATO ELYAKABENJE ategese LAUNCH EYAKABENJE nga 8 e KYADONDO. Ebisingako awo, mubilinde ku CNN," Bobi Wine noted on his wall about the forthcoming concert.

The 'Akalimu' singer has now asked the Fire Base Crew fans to mark their calendars for the Clean and Out Akalimu Concert that will be held on November 8, 2013 at Kyadondo Rugby Grounds. Mr. G, Version from Jamaica and Zambia's Mampi will perform on that day.

Chameleone showing off the Villas he built for his wife Daniella
Bebe Cool is still on the issue of Chameleone staying with his in-laws.

Initially, this was between Chameleone and the Bukedde Newspaper after they published one of their lead stories that the Badilisha singer had relocated to his in-laws in Mutungo.

Bebe Cool has continued to use this opportunity to get at the music doctor in every way. Yesterday, he offered him one of his unfinished apartments in Kiwatule, an offer that Jose Chameleone turned down by saying that bad mouthing him does not make him (Bebe Cool) wiser but more of a fool.

Surprisingly, this comment was even liked by Moze Radio bearing in mind that early this year, Moze Radio was wondering why police had taken long to have Chameleone arrested for the alleged murder of Karamagi.

Today(Sep 17), in what Bebe Cool is terming as "For His Fans Only", he has striked Chameleone once again in the message below:

"So surprising when people don't want you to say facts about their artists but when it's about Bebe Cool, they fuss. Now this is strictly for my fans. Life is simple when you make it simple for yourself. My neighbour wakes up in the morning and marries in a chopper, claims he is number 6 of Africa's richest artistes but before the year ends, he's off to staying with his father in law."

Bebe Cool even hints on the issue of Karamagi in which he never commented but he adds that on the issue of Chameleone relocating to his in-laws cannot just pass and in fact, he says; it's an abomination because it impacts negatively on Buganda's marriage morals.

Bebe Cool concludes by asking what happened to the Daniella Villaz that were bought earlier on? "I will never let artistes lie to Ugandans anymore. It's not good for the upcoming artistes." as he signed off in today's post.

Jose and Bebe Cool at the Bayuda Launch at Hotel Africana
Jose Chameleone has responded to Bebe Cool's latest remarks in which he was offering him one of his unfinished apartments in Kiwatule to occupy as opposed to putting up at his in-laws in Mutungo.

"It's quite a pity to a comrade who up to now has failed to make a self analysis and discover that bad mouthing me doesn't make him a wiser one except a fool. In everyone's life lies challenges that we encounter to be better next day. That's my way of understanding. That's how the world revolves. Just a leaf of advice: I AM ME AND CAN NEVER BE YOU and vice versa, so put your energy in what is important to you and your family coz I got mine too, " Chameleone wrapped up the matter on his wall.

A few days before Chameleone's Malawi trip, he shifted from his Muyenga rented pad to a more spacious house in Mutungo something that got Bebe Cool so excited. As he performed in Mbarara, he made it a point that he alerts his fans with what was going on just in case they were not aware. He read to them the article in Bukedde newspaper about Chameleone's shifting.

On Monday morning (Sep 16), Bukedde made Bebe Cool the topic of the day by saying that Chameleone's fans were about to beat him up for belittling their artiste and yet he was actually a renter in a two bed-room house. This rubbed Bebe the wrong way and using his wall, he unleashed his wrath on both Bukedde and Chameleone.

In his post, Bebe noted that it was Bukedde that had ashamed Chameleone by publishing his story about shifting to his in-laws and now they are turning around and making it look like It was him. Bebe Cool wondered if he was the one who asked them to go and cover that story?

However, Bebe Cool giving Chameleone a house left a lot to be desired, but then again, he knew exactly what he was doing. During the launch of the Daniella Villas which were part of the Chameleone Investments, Chameleone reminded Bebe Cool to wake up and finish his house, something that really worked up the Bebe Cool camp.

Jose Chameleone Malawi Tour

Uganda's music heavy weight Dr. Jose Chameleone is in Malawi for performances starting this Friday together with his young brother AK47. The Badilisha star arrived safely in Malawi on Thursday joining his band members who had travelled earlier. The Malawi tour is just days after winning the African Entertainment Award for 'Best International Male Artist'

He assured his fans in one of his tweets that: "All I do is win win win no matter what..." as he thanked them for the votes that enabled him to get the 24k gold award. As if confirming the title for his latest award, the 'Badilisha' star has been to Tanzania, Congo, Zambia and now Malawi in just five weeks and yet before that, he had been in the US for a month on a Badilisha tour.

Before the Malawi tour, he was supposed to perform in Dubai at Dhow Palace, but the organisers were a bit slow at sorting out the paper work, so he switched to Malawi. On Sept 11, 2013 Chameleone will be in the UK ahead of the Uganda Convention UK 2013 that will be held at Troxy Arena on September 14, 2013.

Tonight, Chameleone will be performing some of his hits that include 'Valu-Valu', 'Badilisha' among others while AK47 won't miss out his latest, 'Nali Simanyi' at Comesa Hall in Blantyre and on Saturday, the star will be at Mungo Park, Lilongwe and on Sunday, he will complete the Malawi tour with a performance at Lilongwe Golf Club.

So when the star uses his tag line "Leone Island Tugende Tukole" meaning Leone Islanders Let's get to work, you know exactly where he is coming from and where he is headed.

Jose Chameleone at Lugogo Cricket Oval and inset is the late Zaire President, Mobutu Sese Seko.
During the just concluded Konshens and Alaine show at the Lugogo Cricket Oval, Jose Chameleone was one of the local artistes that performed but this is not about his performance, but rather his sense of fashion. The 'Badilisha' singer came dressed in a leopard hat and a matching jacket just like the fallen President of (then) Zaire, Mobutu Sese Seko.

Like a chameleon that changes its colour to match the environment, the music DOCTOR changed and went for the leopard spot fashion. We are still getting to terms with why a chameleon would opt for leopard fashion well knowing that a leopard cannot change its spots, but being the star he is, it was okay for him to be dressed up in extravangant clothing.

However, during the same show, some ladies who went clad in micro-mini skirts with others having nothing under got the short end of the stick as summarized by KFM's Roger Mugisha through this post:

"I have decided not to post Konshens concert pictures. Word of caution; when planning a concert outing where more than 2000 people are expected, go an extra mile to choose 'risk averse' wardrobe. A dress top that goes panty-less is a bad idea! The tear gas at the gates was enough to reveal careless wardrobe.

It is unfortunate  that some ladies were abused, fondled and _______ as the chaos broke out at the gates, some fainted in the scuffle." The radio personality adds that: "The show was good, unfortunately 'inadequate' crowd control planning might cost some brands their well intended brand experience."

Jose Chameleone on arrival in Zambia, he also paid tribute to the late President Chiluba

The last time the Badilisha star was in the US, he made it a point that he visits the Bruce Lee grave site in Seattle to pay his tribute. Early this month, Chameleone was performing at the Government Complex in Lusaka, Zambia where he left his fans yearning for more of his hits.

As part of his tour, he paid a visit to the ex-Zambian President final resting place in Lusaka. Dr. Frederick Chiluba was the second President of Zambia who died on 18 June, 2011.

Chameleone has fans all over Africa. On arrival in Zambia, the star was seen waving and smiling to his fans atop a limousine that chauffeured him from the airport to the hotel, but one could easily confuse the Zambian fans for his Ugandan fans.

Jose Chameleone's Badilisha tour continues. The star is currently in Tanzania and over the weekend, he will be in Dubai for performances. It should be noted that before this, he was in Congo and Zambia respectively.

Dr. Besigye and Jose Chameleone

Star singer Jose Chameleone is in Tanzania for a performance at Dar-es-Salaam's latest beach front destination at Escape Complex.

According to a statement from the organisers: "This party is guaranteed to go all night with Epiq Bongo star search artistes hosting and opening the night time entertainment with live performances, leading up to Ugandan musical icon, Chameleone, gracing the Escape Complex main stage on Saturday night. Expect to hear all of your favorite Chameleone hits from yester-year and today."

Chameleone will thrill his fans with hits from the Mama Mia days to today's Badilisha alongside DJ's Bulla, Senorita and Pac. The father of five has had issues with Tanzania where he broke a leg in 2008 after falling from a top floor in Arusha, and just last year, he had to camp at the Tanzanian Embassy here in Kampala after his passport was confiscated, but all this is behind him as we see more of Chameleone gigs in TZ.

It should be noted that, five days back, Chameleone was performing in Lusaka Zambia, and while there, ex Big Brother star and Zambia's finest, Mampi Mukape of the Swilili fame used the opportunity to take the star to studio for a recording which should be expected any time soon. Next week, Chameleone will be in Dubai.

Communicating the Tanzanian trip, he shared a pic of himself with Dr. Besigye whom he must have met on his way to TZ with these words: "Fully Ugandan and proud to be from "Pearl of Africa" where MUSIC is the vibe! As I head off to TANZANIA, I remind every MUSIC lover that Music earned me this! It's not easy but I hang in and they compliment my contribution."

Jose Chameleone is now in Lusaka

The Club Music Video Awards nomination list is out and the music heavy weight does not feature anywhere, but shortly after the nominations were released, the music doctor took to his wall with these words:

"I'm so lucky to be doing what I love - Music for souls in joy, pain, loneliness, happiness, endurance etc." Jose Chameleone was in America for one month on a Badilisha Tour, cut it short to be around Daniella as she gave birth to his fifth child. On the following day, he went to Masaka and Congo.

Chameleone is now in Lusaka, Zambia and tomorrow, he will be performing at Polo Grill and on Saturday, the Badilisha star will be live at the Government complex. On Sunday, Chameleone will perform at Barclays Sports Complex for a family show.

Chameleone has gone with his 11-member band. "It's not the trade, but the passion that's making all this happen. I love music and love music loving people. I am carrying the whole band to LUSAKA to make sure we have a blast that's worthy the years we have ...been waiting to party together!"

Chameleone is expected to play some of his top hits that include, 'Badilisha', 'Valu Valu' and Maoko Na MaoKo that was done in a Zimbabwean language and appeals more to audiences in the Southern parts of Africa.

Chameleone on arrival in Congo
Jose Chameleone on arrival in Congo on Jul 17, 2013

Star singer Jose Chameleone is back to work just days after his wife Daniella gave birth to baby Amma. The singer was forced to cut short his Badilisha American tour just to be around his wife. However, last Thursday (Jul 11), Daniella had to drive herself to Bugolobi where she eventually delivered. Chameleone was at the time performing in Kasanga at a Club Venom Facebook themed party.

On Jul 12, Chameleone had to travel to Masaka for a show at Trends Pub in Kaliisizo slated for the next day. The music Doctor then travelled back to Kampala on the night of (Jul 13). On Sunday(Jul 14), the star singer was spotted in his customised (MAYANJA) BMW driving towards Spenah Beach in Entebbe.

On Monday and Tuesday, Chameleone is believed to have kept around Daniella and the new born, Amma just to cope with the new environment. However, on Wednesday(Jul 17), duty was calling again, but before leaving for Bukavu-DR Congo, he pecked the eight-day-old baby with these words: "Amma Christian - See you when am back! Dad is always on the move- I love you son."

Next month, Chameleone will be performing live in Zambia alongside Leo Moyo whose stage name, K' Millian is similar to that of our very own music heavy weight.

Bobi Wine's Kids and Chameleone's

Jose Chameleone is a dad again - for the fifth time. His wife gave birth to baby boy Amma yesterday. Chameleone and Daniella now have three sons and one girl, Ayla who turns two in February.

Chameleone also has one daughter, Ayla from his previous relationship with Dorotia. He's not the only one with several children, his young brother Weasel is rumoured to have over a dozen kids.

The Ghetto president, Bobi Wine has been demanding for a fourth child from his wife Barbie but looks like this won't happen any time soon. Bobi Wine has three with Barbie and another child with his ex, Safina Mubiru based in the UK.

While congratulating Chameleone on his new bundle of joy, he wrapped up his message by telling his wife Barbie that she was next. In fact that night, he went with chocolate back home to try and convince Barbie to change her mind.

"Wow, uncle Bobi is the first to know about the arrival of baby Amma Christian Mayanja...Congratulations Chameleone, as for you Barbie, the writing is on the wall, I'm coming home," Bobi wrote on his wall.

Meanwhile, Barbie has been under pressure from friends, relatives and fans to have another baby following their wedding in 2011, but she won't succumb to their demands and has instead taken on to a different plan as summarized in her Tuesday post;

"I so love to have more children but I choose to instead join the rest of the country and concerned Organizations to try and make a difference by educating fellow women on how to play their part in preserving their lives and their children when pregnant."

Chameleone, Daniella and Amma
Daniella Atim Mayanja has given birth to a bouncing baby boy.

Chameleone's wife welcomed a son named Amma Christian Mayanja on Thursday at Bugolobi based Paragon Hospital, a few minutes to 2am. At the time, the 'Badilisha' star was performing at the Club Venom Facebook Party and on getting the good news, he rushed to join his dear wife.

At about 5am, Chameleone who was thrilled to welcome a new member to the family hit his wall on ensuring that the mom and baby were doing fine with these words:

"It's Life, That most of the times we are away from what we love the most. I am thankful for the beautiful family that God has blessed me with. And no matter what you will always come first! We together would like to celebrate the joy from MAYANJA family With you as we welcome our new baby AMMA CHRISTIAN MAYANJA. Our new born baby. I LOVE YOU Daniella Atim Mayanja. Until death do us apart I got you as a perfect wife, friend and inspiration. Leone Island Family, Thank you for the prayers."

Last year in February, the couple was blessed with a lovely daughter, Alba Shyne Mayanja and seventeen months later, Daniella has given birth to Amma, her fourth child and Chameleone's fifth. Ayla is Chameleone's first born with his ex, Greant Osea aka Dorotia. Abba(9), Alba, Alfa and now Amma are Daniela's kids with Chameleone.

His fans are now demanding for twins. Congratulations to the happy parents.

Daniella with Alba and inset is the couple on their wedding day
"It's five years since I found my other half. I love U Daniella," Chameleone tweeted as he shared a flashback wedding photo. Unfortunately, Daniella is not by his side as he has a show in Dallas at Nai Sports bar and Grill today.

"On this day in Bbina Church 5 years ago, we sealed a marriage, we made vows and committed to that statement: "In times of good and bad" . True we have shared the greatest moments of our lives together, and the worst ones too and so we shall continue till death does us part."

The music heavy weight continued with the wedding anniversary message: "Daniella, you are more than a rib to me, you are my best friend, my consultant, you are my life. Thanks for loving me, thanks for tolerating me, thanks for being the greatest mom I would ever wish for my children and thanks for always standing by me."

The 'Badilisha' singer assured Daniella of how he will only keep falling in love with her as they grow old. "Happy 5th wedding anniversary. I miss you and our kids so so much.... As we grow older together, As we continue to change with age, there is one thing that will never change. . . I will always keep falling in love with you....."

Being an artiste he is, you could easily mistake the message for lyrics to his next hit, but then again, Daniella deserves it all looking at how the music doctor has poured his heart out.

Jose Chameleone at Bruce Lee's grave site in Seattle

Chameleone is on a 'US Badilisha Tour' and while there, he made a visit to the Bruce Lee Grave site to pay his tribute to the fallen martial arts film star who died in 1973. Bruce Lee's grave is next to his son, Brandon Lee who died in 1993.

"Off to the USA for my 2013 Tour of North America...ama miss my wife, my babies Abba, Alfa & Alba. Ama miss you my pipo. But sometimes, a man got to do wat he has to do." Chameleone noted on his wall.

This coming Saturday, the 'Badilisha' singer will be performing live at Cafe Ibex in Seattle. The music heavy weight has already performed at Los Angeles during the Basoga Twegaite Convention among others. After the June 01 Seattle Show, he will be in Maine on Jun 07, and Washington DC on Jun 08.

His fans in Phonix AR will be with him on Jun 15 followed by Kansas on Jun 21 and wind up the US Badilisha tour on Jun 22 with a show in Illinois.

The star left Uganda on May 23 and landed in L.A California the following day. Chameleone was delighted to meet his young brother Pallaso to which he said; "Brotherhood is the very price and condition of man's survival." Short of that, he's met Ugandan boxer Kassim Ouma and socialite Judith Heard of Houston based 2African Gals.

Doreen with Daniella and on the right is Chameleone and Doreen
Model Doreen Kabareebe and Jose Chameleone's wife Daniella Atim were spotted together for the first time since 2012 when the picture of Chameleone touching the models naked bottom became viral. The sight of the pic was too disgusting for Daniella to the extent that she warned Doreen to keep her 'curves' off her man.

What turned out to be surprising to many last Saturday was to see Doreen and Daniella standing side by side with no animosity in sight. The two were attending the marriage service for Esther Akankwasa that was being held at Kansanga Miracle Centre. Doreen was one of the maids.

Based on the killer pic that saw Jose wrap his hand around Doreen's bare bottom and whispering sweet nothings, Daniella was the last person that was to stand next to the video vixen cum model who was more than determined to have the music doctor. Now that the two were never seen together, all sorts of rumours have emerged as to why.

Doreen got wind of this and very quickly dashed to her wall with this posting: "Guys, u shd all learn to stand in whatever situation coz the truth always comes out. God never sleeps....Lights out, Prayers up!....the world's negativity makes any wise person stronger en more focused. Blessings to y'all," she concluded.

In her words Doreen seems to suggest that Daniella had no problem with that act as she is seen wearing a smile in the photo.

The Goodlyfe Crew at the Obudde launch and inset is Chameleone and wife Daniella.

Jose Chameleone has given a special shout out to his former backup vocalists, Moze Radio and Weasel who have been nominated in this year's BET Awards.

Chameleone took to facebook to give his shout out to the Goodlyfe Crew: "The triumph of a son is the Pride of the father. On that note, I join the rest of the music fraternity to Congratulate Radio & Weasel on their BET nomination..you learnt from the best and you learnt well. I pray you win it for Uganda. Good luck"

The Goodlyfe Crew have been doing their thing for five years now since breaking away from Jose Chameleone's Leone Island Music Empire to form their own group, The Goodlyfe Crew.

It's not clear if Bebe Cool will congratulate the duo, but Bobi Wine is yet to do so. Meanwhile, the boys can't hide their excitement over this achievement, the first of its kind to happen to a Ugandan artiste.

Moze Radio wrote: "Let's go team Uganda. ..let's go team Rwanda...let's go team Kenya...let's go team Tanzania...let's go team Sudan...South Africa...Central Africa...West Africa...North Africa...America...Europe...Asia...Australia...let's go...B E T...is here in a Goodlyfe style...Radio and Weasel nominated for the Best International African act."

Jose Chameleone's young brother, Weasel joined with these words: "All Goodlyfe fans are BET material, we are diamonds...history made."

Bebe Cool changing colours like a Chameleon
After announcing his launch dates for the Coccidiosis album, Bebe Cool tweeted that, "A Chameleone can only change its colour but not it's skin." In this statement, Bebe Cool seems to imply that every other thing around Chameleone can change but not the skin complexion even after tones of Mekako and Samona jelly are applied.

Sometime back, it was reported of how Chameleone had a strange skin disease may be that is how Bebe Cool gets his ideas. Coccidiosis is one of his latest songs and now made it his album title. This is what happens when you are big. Just yesterday, The Goodlyfe Crew were comparing themselves to Chameleone and also giving impressions that their brand is now bigger than Chameleone's.

But In spite of all that, Chameleone is still in a jubilation mood after his well attended Badilisha show and certainly has no time. The latest information streaming in from Tanzania indicates that Chameleone's Valu Valu and Keko's Make U Dance have been nominated in the Kilimanjaro Awards.

Different shots of Chameleone and the Goodlyfe Crew applying makeup
During the recently concluded BADILISHA concert, Chameleone performed songs by different artistes that included Bobi Wine, Goodlyfe, Bebe Cool and Judith Babirye among others, a gesture that was welcomed by many music lovers. The Badilisha star went an extra mile to even appeal to his fans to go and support the Goodlyfe Crew's forthcoming Obudde album.

It's important to note that this was coming at a time when not long back, Moze Radio, a member of the Goodlyfe Crew used everything in his powers to ask the police to speed up with their investigations in the Karamagi case. In spite of all that, the Music Doctor went ahead to drum up support for their (Goodlyfe) concert and also performed their 'Bread and Butter' hit.

Going by the Goodlyfe's latest posting which is also their definition of Success, the duo now say they are even bigger than the music doctor given their constant appearances on MTV Base and topping charts on Trace.

"Success is: Doin wat othrz have dan n 10yrz, in less thn 5yrz!, topin charts on Trace, MTV Base etc, breaking away from a brand n makin an even bigger brand! # OBUDDE"

In their message, the dynamic duo don't seem to recognise their mentor and yet when Bobi Wine appreciated their Music, they were quick to say, Thank You.

The Obudde album will be held on May 10, 2013 at Hotel Africana and later pundits will compare notes with the Badilisha concert to see to it if their statement is valid.

Chameleone dressed like an astronaut during the Badilisha Concert
It's a little hard to comprehend that the Badilisha star has turned 34 years old today and remained one of the biggest musical acts in East Africa. The Badilisha Concert that was held over the weekend confirms that. Married to Daniella Atim and together they are blessed with three kids, Abba who rocked at the Badilisha Concert, Alfa Mayanja and Alba Shyne Mayanja. Chameleone has another daughter, Ayla Mayanja with his ex Belgium wife, Dorotia.

In his birthday message, the star with over 13 years in the music industry had this to say: "Soooo many years sooooo many challenges, but with the love of the most high God, my family, fans and friends we have challenged back!

Today I want to celebrate my 34th BIRTHDAY with you who have made my life worth living, I mark this day that I was born with a lot of presents that include your tremendous support for BADILISHA Live! You gave me the best birthday present ever by showing me your love, together we made it."

Chameleone's 13-year-music journey has not been a bed of roses. In 2008, the star fell from a top floor of a hotel in Arusha breaking his legs in the process, then a year later, he was knocked to near death around Wampewo round about by now jailed Meddie Ssentongo. The two made up and he actually gave him the Mayanja customised BMW in appreciation of his music. If the transfer was not made, this could be one of the properties belonging to Meddie that Greenhalgh is seeking to attach.

The worst blow to his career was the death of Robert Karamagi who broke into his Sseguku based house only to torch himself. He later died from Mulago Hospital. Chameleone was cleared though police insist they will not hesitate to revisit the file should they find it necessary.

One thing is for sure, at 34, he is still releasing more hits. 'Valu- Valu', 'Badilisha', 'Moto-Moto', 'Mama Mia' 'Kipepeo' and 'Beyi Kali' among others are the hits that continue to resonate with his fans. Happy Birthday Chameleone.

Fans wanting to feel Chameleone at the Badilisha Concert
Photo: Nicholas Oneal
Africa's number six and East Africa's finest, Jose Chameleone did it once again at the Badilisha Concert that was held at Kyadondo Rugby Grounds. Dressed like an astronaut straight from Mars to Kyadondo, the Badilisha star hit the stage at about 10:30pm doing 'Owakabi' followed by 'Bomboclut' and later his other top hits that included, Mama Mia, 'Mambo Bado', 'Bayuda' among others.

The Ghetto President was all smiles in the VIP section clad in black alongside the Kampala Metropolitan Police Boss Felix Kaweesi plus other East African artistes that included Redsan, Samputu and Prof. Jay among others.

Local artistes who entertained the guests before Chamili hit the stage included: Navio, Gravity Omutuju, AK47, Papa Cidy, Mathias Walukagga, Ronald Mayinja and Coco Finger among others.

True to his name, Chameleone stunned guests when he did songs by fellow artistes like Bebe Cool's 'Kasepiki', 'Wendi' by Bobi Wine, 'Bread and Butter' by the Goodlyfe and 'Bweyanyamba' by Judith Babirye. He did not spare Jaguar's Kigeugeu.

Chameleone later urged half of his fans at the Badilisha live show to support the OBUDDE album launch by Goodlyfe which will take place on May 10, 2013.

As the show was almost winding up, Chameleone invited his son, Abba Marcus Mayanja who took on to the guitar to do the 'Bomboclut' song. The boy looked calm before the crowd as he did justice to the guitar. Last year, Valu-Valu was big but Badilisha was even bigger with numbers estimated at over 24,000.

Police issued a terror alert earlier in the day but this did not stop fans from rocking the venue which was the scene of the July 2010 Al-Shabab bombs that left over 70 dead.

Chameleone getting his hair done

All is set for the Badilisha Concert tomorrow (Apr 26) at the Kyadondo Rugby Grounds. Jose Chameleone was at the grounds ensuring that all is well ahead of the concert. Redsan from Kenya, Professor Jay from Tz and Massamba from Rwanda will perform alongside Uganda's music heavy weight.

Doing his hair as he sipped a cold bell, Chameleone did the Badilisha dance saying he is more than ready as he appealed to his fans to come in large numbers. Tickets going for 10k and 30k will be purchased at the gates.

"A few people can at times say, going for a concert is very difficult claiming it's a long journey, expensive tickets but for the BADILISHA Concert there is literally no excuse because at Kyadondo, we have brought the music closer to your community.

The stage is up to the standards and the delivery will be perfect." Chameleone said.

Badilisha live at Kyadondo Rugby Grounds

Jose Chameleone has spoken out on the ongoing debate as to whether he should be on the list of the top ten wealthiest musicians on the African continent or not. Bebe Cool is on record for having rubbished the report claiming that as far as he is concerned, wealth means just how much you give to the needy.

Bobi Wine now says he has no problem if a comrade is ranked the best in Africa but then adds that some people have no reason to talk about wealth or money matters now that they have no address they can call their own since they are still renting.

After the two were done with their submissions on the top richest African list, the heavy weight came out of his shell and this is what he had to say: "Am not going to be intimidated by anybody to declare how much am worth. My struggle is to give my children the best value out of my good music. To all my Comrades, I am Nothing, to my fans I am worthy."

With those very few words, Chameleone simply put it that all he strives for is for his children to get the very best life can offer out of his music career. The Moto-moto singer concluded by wishing his fans a Happy Palm Sunday and a blessed week ahead.

He also reminded his fans of his forthcoming Badilisha album launch slated for next month at Kyadondo Rugby Grounds.

Bobi Wine reacts to Bebe Cool's Rich-List Talk
The issue of Chameleone being ranked number 10 among the top richest African musicians has now taken a new twist. A day after Bebe Cool gave his views on what he thought about the top list, Bobi Wine has come out with what he terms as his views as opposed to what appeared in the Bukedde Newspaper of March 21, 2013.

"It is unfortunate that my name has been dragged into some immature argument. Well, It's only understandable that my name can't be ignored when this topic of money and wealth comes up. However, let me put it straight, There's absolutely no reason for me to have any kind of problem when a comrade in showbiz is ranked the richest artist in Africa just like I would not expect him to have a problem if my wife ranked me the strongest man in the world.

The 'By Far' singer adds that: This is called Showbiz(ness). As for you our elder brother (Neighbour with no address), no one quarrelled when you ranked yourself best artist of all time in Uganda. I really think you crossed borders when you started talking money and wealth because I don't see you in this area. $$Just an Observation$$", he concluded.

In his message, Bobi Wine makes it clear that he has no problem with his comrade being ranked number 10, in fact, he puts it plainly that he has no problem if he's the richest in Africa. Bobi Wine does not think that BEBE who has no address now that his house is still under construction should have the guts to talk about money and wealth and he does not see him in this area.

It should be noted at this point that Bobi Wine has his mansion in Magere, just completed Semakokiro Plaza with 12 units that currently house his Fire Base Crew offices, an Escalade and a beach in Busabala among others. Bebe Cool on the other hand has his Hummer, just recently was trying out the Bebe Cool Wine though not much is known about the wine currently.

Bobi Wine's response has come at the time when Bebe Cool had just put a pic of Chameleone eating rice on a plastic plate, but in all this, all Chameleone says is, kutaBADILISHA.

Chameleone's wife Daniella Atim and Kasuku make peace
Dembe FM's Isaac Katende aka Kasuku has apologized to Jose Chameleone's wife Daniella Atim for the comments he made on December 31, 2012. During his Dembe FM talk and talk show today, Kasuku kicked off with an apology.

"It is not true that Daniella was moving out with a one Emma and it's also not true that Daniella was beaten to the point of getting a miscarriage." Bobi Wine's 'Demakakana when de ma see me' was first on his play list followed by Yung Mullo's 'Tebakusobola' before resorting to the topic of the day - female artistes in the music industry.

On the 28.Feb.2013, Kasuku and Daniella were in court and it was decided that Daniella pays 221,500/- to Kasuku and in turn Kasuku apologizes on his radio show and his blog, he has already done that on radio but his blog has been off for close to a week now.

Kasuku run a poll of Uganda's Best Musician in the last 50 years as part of Uganda's 50 years of independence in which Bebe Cool was declared as the top artiste. Just yesterday, he has come up with another list which he says is from a trusted friend that puts Bebe Cool as number one as the richest musician in East Africa.

Chameleone and Daniella at Spenah Beach in Entebbe
You all remember the hot Daniella slap that went flying to Kasuku's cheeks last year, that case has now been disposed off.

Isaac Katende aka Kasuku and Daniella were yesterday back in the Makindye based court over the hot slap that resulted in a torn shirt and a destroyed rosary. Daniella has now been asked to pay Ugx 221,500 in damages.

Kasuku has also been asked to apologise to Daniella on Radio and the blog where he posted the Seguku house remarks and never to mention anything about Daniella be it positive or negative.

The compesation was broken down as follows: The torn shirt was valued at Shs20,000, rosary at Shs1,500/- and treatment 200,000/- Regarding the treatment, Kasuku had to seek services of a masseuse who massaged his slapped cheek to ensure that all was well.

This is the second case involving the Mayanja's to be cleared in a span of two months. First, It was the Karamagi case in which Chameleone was accused of torching an intruder in his Seguku house on boxing day, but that is a thing of the past after it turned out that he had no case to answer and now the Daniella slap.

Now that this was an out of court settlement, the couple was seen a few days back jet skiing at Spenah Beach in Entebbe celebrating the positive developments.

Jose Chameleone and Daniella enjoying the jet ski ride in Entebbe
The Badilisha star Jose Chameleone was over the weekend spotted with his wife Daniella at Spenah Beach in Entebbe cruising on a jet ski.
The lovers looked like newly weds on a honeyman as Daniella clung on to Chameleone as he raced away.

The couple has of late been in court for various issues. Chameleone was cleared in the Karamagi saga and there was no better way of celebrating that milestone other than shooting his Badilisha video which happens to be his latest Album.

Daniella on the other hand will be in court again on the 28-Feb-2013. Insider sources have it that Daniella is in talks with Kasuku lawyers to have the case settled out of court.

Regarding Chameleone's latest Album launch, this is what he has to say: "We have never been this ready! 26th April 2013 #BADILISHA live.. the Grounds are Waiting, the drums are roaring and all shall sing along the sounds of LEONE ISLAND,the #Badilisha Dance shall be Synonymous with all and even the sick and eldery shall disaprove their sympathisers ..#BADILISHA LIVE...2013, these are not promises, these are guarantees for a great nite on 26th April... when we officially usher in the muscial year."

Jose Chameleone's wife Daniella Atim is faced with Assault charges.
Jose Chameleone's wife Daniella Atim Mayanja had always been the reserved type at least compared to Bobi Wine's Barbie and Bebe Cool's Zuena but from the time she slapped Kuku Wazabanga, a journo with Dembe FM, it changed that perception.

It all started with Kuku claiming that the Sseguku house which Chameleone has since left after relocating to Muyenga was about to be taken by loan sharks. Daniella wondered how that could be possible and yet she was in possession of the land title in question, so she drove to the Monitor Publications.

It was during that visit that the two allegedly engaged in a fight. On Monday afternoon(Feb 11), Daniella Atim appeared before the Makindye Chief Magistrates Court for fighting in a public place.

Criminal summons were issued to Kuku as well but he did not show up. The mother of three denied the charges. She was later released on bail after two members of the Leone Island Crew executed a non cash bail of shs10m each.

Chameleone was around the court to support his dear wife. The case was adjourned to Feb 28, 2013.

Uganda's music heavy weight Jose Chameleone has officially released the Badilisha video, which also happens to be the title for his 2013 album.

The star who recently shifted to Muyenga from his Seguku house after ten years is all set for the launch. Valu Valu in 2012 was massive but the Badilisha Concert is likely to surpass Valu-Valu by far and large.

Chameleone has been tussling with the Karamagi case for the last one month but this seems like a thing of the past after he was cleared by the Director of Public Prosecution. On being cleared, completing the Badilisha video and shifting to a new house were top on his agenda.

Chameleone says that the date is 'olwede bukuuti' meaning that the date has been confirmed though as we earlier told you that the search for a relatively bigger venue is the reason the actual date has not been communicated.

It's a new year and new music from all corners is being released by both upcoming and established artistes. Chameleone's young brother, AK47 has also released his version of 'Gal A Bubble' video which he did with DiziZa. You know Konshens version but this version is 'Oligiono' read original by AK47 though you must be 18 and over to watch this!.

Daniella by the pool side as their kids swim at the new pad

Chameleone has been forced to quit his Sseguku based house to Muyenga for security reasons. The singer says that his security and that of his family was compromised.

"My security and that of my family was compromised in Seguku. Therefore it was prudent to acquire another place as the security issues at Seguku got fixed. Again this will allow for the renovation work that has been going on at Seguku for the last 4 months get finished and done more efficiently. Leone island family, introducing my new hut in Muyenga."

Earlier reports had indicated that the Moto-Moto star had moved all his posh rides that included an Escalade, BMW, and a Range Rover Sport plus other valuables to his in-laws in Bina something that the star was quick to refute. He even invited some folks to come to Sseguku and prove that the allegations were wrong.

It has not been a bed of roses for the 'Badilisha' singer for the last one month following the death of Robert Karamagi who broke into his house late last year only to allegedly torch himself from the singer's house.

Chameloene's movements to his Sseguku house during day time were greatly affected after that incident. This has in the end left him with no choice but to relocate to Muyenga. The kids were seen enjoying the new home which is well equipped with a swimming pool and a quiet neighborhood.

Meanwhile, the singer is in his final stages of launching his latest album, Badilisha. Insider sources say that a search for a venue that can handle a crowd bigger than that of the Valu-Valu launch is on.

Bobi Wine's crib beats them all
Bobi Wine's house in Magere and inset is his Semakokiro Plaza followed by Chameleone's Sseguku based house while posing right by Daniella Villas and last but not least is Bebe Cool's Kiwatule based mansion that has seen much progress in the last months to the level of roofing.

The music industry in Uganda is so competitive especially when it comes to these three top male artistes but their cribs have always been an interesting topic of discussion for the fans.

Regarding Bobi Wine's Magere based crib, there is nothing much to write home about. Just recently, he moved his Fire Base office and studio to Semakokiro Plaza that has over 10 units boosting his savings as he won't have any office rent to pay.

Chameleone is busy renovating his house though complaining of how cement prices are sky rocketing but fans have advised him to resort to using cow dung or he should very quickly come up with a concert of sorts tagged to house renovation.

Bebe Cool has just roofed his luxurious 6in1 mansion and this very year, he could move in at least going by the progress on the house. The Kamwako singer has committed all resources to the house putting on hold his other activities like donating to charity, painting his current Ntinda house among others.

Chameleone with P-Square in Rwanda and Moze with a P-Square guy in Uganda recently
Chameleone's file has been sent to the Director of Public Prosecution (DPP) to advise on whether the Moto-Moto star Jose Chameleone should be prosecuted or not based on the evidence so far gathered and the report from Mulago hospital on what caused the death of Robert Karamagi.

On Thursday, Robert Karamagi's dad was at Kibuli police making a statement on the death of his son. Earlier on, Daniella and Chameleone plus other members of Leone Island Music Empire (LIME) made statements that were helping police with the investigations.

Hopefully this will make Moze Radio settle and also realise that the police is doing its job though it cannot work on his orders. On Saturday, the Chameleone's were in a family meeting discussing this case in particular and also appealing to Moze Radio through Weasel TV to be calm.

In case the situation warrants that Chameleone be prosecuted, then the manslaughter charge would be preferred against him now that Karamagi did not die from the singer's home. It would have been murder had he died from Chameleone's home.

Moze Radio promised not to keep quiet until something is done. By Monday afternoon, Moze Radio was still spitting venom with worse off allegations. Chameleone simply brushed it off with this post: "With all these bricks that have been thrown at me these past few days, I will lay a firm foundation."

Once close but now far apart

The Karamagi saga makes Chameleone feel like 'Moto Moto', 'Badilisha', 'Shida Za Dunia' and now 'Street Kid' his latest, a collabo with Jamaica's Konshens who also refers to him as Africa's finest.

Moze Radio was Jose Chameleone's back up vocalist back then but part ways in the year 2008. Moze together with Chameleone's brother Douglas Mayanja aka Weasel TV formed the Goodlyfe Crew. 'Magnetic' and 'Fantastic' are their latest songs.

A few days back, Moze Radio decided to unearth some info here which he thought would be relevant to police but instead, Chameleone's fans who are the majority anyway told him off with some asking him to give up music and join police instead.

In his latest message to police, he says: "Chameleone is wanted for murder n yet I still c him in public!!! I have voiced my anguish n all I get r insults from his sympathisers. Am deeply disturbed by da Uganda Police for their silence. am not going to stop my campaign against violence."

Chameleone's fans are stuck to one thing, prayer and have supported him all the way as he confirmed in his tweet. "I'm humbled by this moral support. We shall overcome. The devil is a liar."

Matters were even made worse for Moze when he called one of the top officers' cell phone at Kajansi Police and the caller tune was a Chameleone's Valu Valu song. Police responded to him that his file had been forwarded to the DPP nd were waiting for a response.

Moze Radio's partner, Weasel is silent over the matter. He will instead be joining other family members today in a meeting which will be attended by Jose Chameleone to discuss a way forward.

Moze Radio tells off Chameleone over Karamagi's death
As you may all be aware that the intruder who broke into Chameleone's house passed on after succumbing to serious injuries he sustained from the singer's house in Sseguku and since then, the police has been handling the matter and are yet to forward the file to the Director of Public Prosection (DPP) for advise.

Fellow artistes have been talking but not wanting to be quoted but one of them who happens to be Moze Radio who was once his back up vocalist back in the days has come out and he is on record and this is what he had to say:

"Chameleone, Chameleone, Chameleone...u almost killed my brother...u beat up Weasel in Rouge...u kidnapped a man from Masaka..n now you are telling the whole world mbu yo wife scared a thief so much dat he set himself on fire!!!! Joseph Joseph..I hope u still remember wat I told u...stop living dangerously...obudde bugendelera... meaning that time is rushing, its high time you acted your age"

This message has got the likes of Kasuku who recently got a beating from Chameleone's wife excited to the extent that he might even forget about his particular case and just monitor this one.

Meanwhile, Chameleone who recently cancelled his tour to Dubai has resorted to local shows but even for the local shows you must have paid up in full for him to perform.

In the last days of the previous year, he was selling like a hot cake but revellers at Calendar Restaurant in Makindye had it rough when the singer showed up but did not perform due to some unpaid balance, the organiser ordered for the gates to be locked so the star could not get out but being the Chameleone he is, he left his Toyota Regius car behind and jumped over the wall to his next destination.

Jose Chameleone with the Inspector General of Police after his passport had been retained in Tanzania last year

Robert Karamagi, the man who broke into Chameleone's house on boxing day before setting himself ablaze was buried on Sunday in Fort Portal. Chameleone has been tight lipped since then and not revealing so much especially to the fans but the Moto-Moto star agrees it is a trying moment for him.

The star started off by wishing his fans and the Leone Island fans a happy new year and went straight to the point. "With all due respect, I have not been quiet about all that is revolving around me for any selfish reasons, It is a trying moment."

Karamagi died from Mulago hospital after sustaining 80% burns to which the Mulago PRO said it was unlikely he could survive and indeed the man later passed on. Relatives to Robert say he had been running errands for Chameleone and he was known to them.

Chamelone on the other hand says: "This man intruded into my house and acted in a self-destructive manner that I can't explain what he had in mind except narrating what I witnessed." Chameleone in his statement off his wall added that:

I contacted police as a responsible citizen after the man threatened my family. Police responded a few minutes after he had set himself ablaze but even when police came, the man was still violent.

Police managed to take him to Kajjansi police and later to Mulago hospital. Karamagi's family members joined him in Mulago hours later and that is when he told them that I was his friend and responsible for his fate.

At the end of it all, Chameleone concluded: "I am born, raised, and will forever be Ugandan,
and I am not above the law! I am encountering a lot of judgement from selfish minds upon this incident but only GOD can judge me."

He then called on to his Leone Islanders to go for work in a Tugende Tukole tone. His wife Daniella Atim together with Chameleone himself have already recorded statements regarding the matter and also detectives were able to look around for all possible clues that could help them in establishing what went wrong and why.

Robert Kalamagi before passing on and inset are detectives at Chameleone's house
Relatives of the now dead Chameleone attacker are accusing the Moto-Moto singer for having torched the man who succumbed to burn injuries sustained on boxing day at the singer's house in Sseguku.

Robert Kalamagi, a resident of Sseguku was a clothes vendor, a fan and good friend to Chameleone according to family members. Kalamagi's father told journalists at Mulago hospital that when he asked his son why he had set himself ablaze, he denied having done that.

According to Kajjansi DPC, Chameleone will have to explain to them that bit. Chameleone is currently in Juba for a show slated for (Dec 28) though before leaving for Juba, he did not want to comment so much on the matter saying that the police was in charge.

Meanwhile, the Mulago hospital Public Relations Officer said that Robert had sustained 80% burns so the chances of survival were minimal.

Robert Kalamagi before he died and inset is Chameleone explaining to friends
Robert Kalamagi (27) the man who broke into singer Jose Chameleone's house has died from Mulago hospital where he was taken for treatment for the severe wounds he sustained in the botched attack.

Kalamagi broke into Chameleone's house at 1:00am, the time Daniella was making her way to the pantry only to hear footsteps in the sitting room. On going there, she met a man who just stood there saying nothing.

Daniella Called Chamelone to come to her rescue as she demanded for answers from the man who by now had started walking towards one of the corners where he had kept a five-litre jerrycan of petrol.

The man then doused himself with petrol and then also tried to douse Daniella too. He then pulled out his lighter and set himself alight. Kalamagi started screaming for help. Police was called in just in time before he could burn to death.

It's not clear why Chameleone did not have guards to take over his security well knowing that 'Abayuda Tuyita Nabo'.

Daniella scoffed at Kuku over the house allegations
Jose Chameleone's wife is a laid-back person and rarely will you see her appearing in the news unless when she has given birth, graced Chamili's album launch or celebrating her birthday or the husband's birthday.

One Kuku Wazabanga aka Kasuku,  the man behind the poll that made Bebe Cool a leading artiste in the past 50 years through his blog post wrote that Chameleone was set to lose his Seguku house to a bank due to a defaulted loan.

In his post, Kasuku wrote that they were investigating the whereabouts of the land title. Daniella who did not seem amused by what she termed as malicious rumours managed to call and told them that she was in possession of the land title.

The Kasuku team was bent on going ahead with their search for the title forcing Daniella to drive to Monitor Publications to show Kuku the original title to counter his allegations.

Kuku was called and he came walking while pulling his trousers up only to see Daniella at the reception who did not waste any time in showing him the land title for the said land. Kuku was like but..but atte you see..and the next thing he realised was a hot slap in the face.

Kuku and Daniella have both opted to sort this out legally. Reacting on the above development, the Doctor had this to say:

"Blaming me for your failure is alleging nonsense against me. I have been on top of the charts for a decade and somehow managed to succeed compared to my age, now whosoever is jealous out there should know that I'm getting better every other day!!

Chameleone concluded that: "I'm seated on my balcony uphill Seguku where the Leone Island come from watching Museveni's convoy pass by. Iam not in debt with any bank as you wish.."

The Mayanja's showing off some love on Daniella's birthday

On Tuesday (Nov 13), Daniella Atim Mayanja turned 28 and her birthday celebration was held at Centenary Park based Barbeque Lounge. "Happy Birthday my darling wife Daniella Atim Mayanja, may you live to blow a million candles." Chameleone wrote while inviting friends and fans for the party.

During the open bar party that was partly sponsored by Nile Gold, the couple got so romantic that they could not stop kissing and holding each other as they celebrated the night away. Daniella was given a first class return ticket to Bahamas for one week with a friend of her choice.

On getting to Bahamas, Daniella will stay in a five star hotel and go for sight seeing, shopping plus other attractions while in the Bahamas. Just recently, Chameleone constructed for his wife Daniella Villas which are two self contained apartments that she was free to let out as a way of boosting her income.

Early this year, Jose Chameleone and Daniella Atim were blessed with a baby gal Meanwhile, Daniella's birthday hair cut left many wondering where she got the guts. Daniella is the type who is so reserved that the last thing you would expect from her was to go for a Mario Balotelli hair cut combined with Moses Golola's look-alike arrow.

We like your swagg gal and for now, enjoy your holiday.

Bitter Facebook exchange between Bebe Cool and Jose Chameleone

It all started with Bebe Cool branding Chameleone Neighbour 'A' and reminding him of how he failed to perform at the olympics and branded Bobi Wine neighbour 'B' for having bought a boat and called it a yacht.

Chameleone retaliated with Daniella Villas to contain the 'Kamwako' star who he referred to as neighbour 'Z' a trick that actually worked because after that we saw Bebe Cool trying to adopt the commercial avenue with Zuena talking of renting out her apartments and then just recently her cake business.

The artistes had kind of kept their low not until the Kamwako launch in November that was held at Kyadondo Rugby Grounds the same venue Chameleone held his Valu-Valu launch. This is now the cause of the current beef after Chameleone's crowd was way bigger than that of Bebe Cool.

Chameleone took to his wall and told his fans of how he was laughing and felt like laughing for the rest of the week. The Moto-Moto singer's laughter was cut short as he had to prepare for his performance at Lugogo Cricket Oval during Sean Paul's Concert.

Chameleone had another show at Club Obligatto on top of being the main curtain raiser at Dutty Paul's show at Lugogo in the same night. It rained heavily that day, and with most fans opting for the international star, Sean Paul, Club Obligato had more empty chairs than fans.

Bebe Cool used the flop opportunity to hit back at Chameleone telling him of how an upcoming artiste was better than him after filling up the same venue to full capacity. On that note, Bebe Cool told Chameleone not open his mouth again.

What followed was Chameleone to be forced to buy a black board to teach his Kiwatule based neighbour a few lessons as seen in the above wall shots. The Kiwatule man did not spare him either.

Same Venue different launch dates, who has a bigger crowd?
Jose Chameleone is still laughing but that's all he has to do for now after Bebe Cool's Kamwako launch which by 'their' standards was a flop but for Bobi Wine who has a launch in (10) days, he has this to say.

"In the beginning it was all physical, I even knocked the guy down at one point Naye nawakana. Then we decided to organise our launches on the same dates to see who is who...we did it 3 consecutive times Nga Ela tumusinga hands down Ela nawakana.

Then came the battle of Champions..in his own words he said ''Tukilize Bobi Wine Yasinga'' but 12hrs later, he objected. This time, we agreed to set our concerts on different dates but in the same venue to settle this once and for all.

One of us had his concert, and you saw the numbers plus the empty chairs! We are now waiting for 16th November. Same venue, Kyadondo. How is that folks." Those were the words of Bobi Wine.

During Chameleone's Valu Valu launch, Kyadondo was filled to the brim, Bebe Cool tried with his Kamwako launch but could not measure up to Valu Valu, we are now yet to see Bobi Wine with his Tugambire Ku Jennifer.

Chameleone Wins Kisima Award
The PAM Awards might not be taking place this year but that has not stopped some of our artistes from not only being nominated but also bringing the awards home.

The 10th edition of the Kisima Awards was held yesterday in Nairobi at KICC Tsavo Ballroom and our very own Chameleone was among the winners.

Chameleone might have lost the BEFFTA award to Juliana but he managed to pull this through when he beat TMK, Professor J, Lady Jaydee and Diamond (all from Tanzania) to get the East African Recognition Award through his Valu-Valu hit.

Celebrating his win, Chameleone dashed to his wall and thanked his fans: "Thanks all my fans, we live to inspire good music not words we have won...strictly music not wolox!!!!"

Others in that category included Jackie Chandiru-'Gold Digger' and a one Dynamiq from South Sudan.

Other Ugandans who were nominated in the Kisima Awards were Keko - 'Make You Dance' a track she did with Madtraxx, Juliana and Alicios 'Mpita Njia' under the Collaboration of the year. This was taken by a track 'Gentleman' which was done by P-Unit and Sauti Sol.

Jose Chameleone and Shaggy on his last visit to Uganda while Davis Ntare greets Zuena
The Moto-Moto star Jose Chameleone has advised fellow artistes not to judge others because the same treatment can be used against them. In a message off his wall, Chameleone says:

"Warning: To all artistes out to judge others' failures and music, wise up, wake up and we will judge you too! Leone Island Music Empire."

Much as the message is to all artistes, music pundits think otherwise as one had this to say. This message is directed at WINE and COOL not even Juliana who beat him in the recently concluded BEFFTA Awards features on that list of 'all artistes' Chameleone is referring to.

Chameleone's warning comes at a time when Bebe Cool had just told one publication of how Chameleone is a bad mannered man and he has no problem saying it. He is always bickering over the smallest of things and I don't see eye-to-eye with him because I cannot keep such friendship. Bebe Said.

Chameleone's 'warning' got a response of Big is Big from one who seemed like a staunch Gagamel fan and now that this is a known Bebe Cool's line and a title to one of his tracks, 'Big Size', Chameleone responded promptly:

Big is Big in your eyes! what about David defeating Goliath with three pebbles...when you ask for words they come in, music they grass." Chameleone concluded as he wished a good week to the island family.

Meanwhile, Bebe Cool's Kamwako launch will be held this coming Friday while Bobi Wine's Tugambire Ku Jennifer will be in two weeks time.

Star singer Jose Chameleone who has been busy lately with his international tours shared a pic of his family off his wall to which he says; ''Generation Next, The Mayanja's Mama, Alba, Alfa and Abba love you all, yours DOCTOR"

Chameleone had a steamy relationship with Belgian Greant Osea aka Dorotia resulting in their baby Ayla Mayanja but the pair later split.

Inset is Chameleone, Dorotia and Ayla during one of his trips to Brussels. Chameleone's naming order has been any name that starts with A, Bebe Cool follows the alphabet order and he is currently at C with Caysan as the latest addition.

Chameleone performing in Stockholm
Uganda's finest and Africa's number one as declared by Konshens had a splendid performance last Saturday in Stockholm, Sweden as they celebrated Uganda's 50 years of Independence.

Chameleone's grabber statement is: 'Leone Island Tugende Tukole' in which he encourages members of his Leone Island Crew to be hard working. This can be seen from the sweat on his swanky purple shirt.

The fans in Sweden could just not get enough of the 'Valu Valu' hit which was one of those tracks that made Jamaican dance-hall star Konshens to declare him Africa's number one. The two recorded a duet to seal this.

Chameleone's music appeals to all. This did not leave out the Swedish who were seen wearing out their dancing shoes as Chameleone did his thing.

"Thanks to all my fans in Stockholm! 2gether we made it a show on record...Moto Moto Leero." Jose Chameleone was joined by the grand pa of Uganda music Ragga Dee and King Michael.

Chameleone will this Saturday perform at Club Rouge live during the Airtel Tsup Swagg party.

Chameleone blames Norwegian promoter for failed Norway Concert
Star singer Jose Chameleone is at war with a Norwegian promoter who has incurred losses after running ads plus several arrangements ahead of a Chameleone Concert which will now not take place after the Moto-Moto star failed to get a visa.

Apparently, Chameleone is attributing the problem to the promoter and in his wall post he says: "I hate promoters like the one in Norway who fails to get me a visa and then he calls me a thief upon his own failure."

One Hamilton Milton responded to the music heavy weight saying: "It is you and your crew to apply and get a visa yourselves and the promoter can give you airtickets and take care of your accommodation."

He adds that: "How I wish you can be humble enough to apologize to the Norwegians and the Ugandan community in Bergen and Oslo."  Chameleone on the other hand is not taking responsibility for any of this and he says that the two parties have a contract and as far as he is concerned, he has not breached anything contained therein.

The promoters claim that they gave Chameleone the invitation letter way back in May 2012 but he only presented it to the visa authorities a week back with Papa Cidy and AK47 names only. They have now vowed to block the singers future performances in Norway.

Daniella Visits Daniella Villas

Singer Jose Chameleone and the butt model Doreen Kabareebe have been a trending item for a greater part of this month but while all this was happening, Daniella was watching that space from Italy.

She is now back from Italy and the first thing on her agenda was to go and check out the Daniella Villas in Bweyogerere. The star who spent last weekend bungee jumping in Jinja had this to say to his critics:

"Welcome back! now let them yap. Our couple is powered by God not cheap talk. To the haterz, me and Daniella are off to Nairobi!!!"

The couple has now gone to celebrate the Villas achievement in Nairobi.

Zuena, Barbie and Daniella
Zuena, Barbie and Daniella are three special women engaged to the top musicians in the land who stay at home taking care of the kids while their husbands make the dime at different gigs in the night.

Zuena Kirema is engaged to Bebe Cool (Moses Ssali) while Barbie (Barbara Itungo) is married to Bobi Wine(Robert Kyagulanyi) and last but not least is Daniella Atim, who is married to Jose Chameleone (Joseph Mayanja).

Daniella keeps at home most of the time taking care of the kids. Barbie on the other hand has been busy managing the One Love Beach, replenishing the second batch of her village belle book let alone ensuring that the Omubanda Wa Kabaka reality show on Bukedde is up and running.

Zuena Cool is into music and has two tracks to her name, 'Owa Boda' and 'Mata', a collaboration with the then Eighton and Rain. This not only makes her a wife to a musician but also a musician.

This type of CV has made Zuena utter some words similar to not comparing her with any other musician's wife as the only thing they have in common is being MARRIED to a musician. Zuena emphasizes the marriage aspect as she even puts it in caps, may be because not so many have witnessed a wedding as big as Bobi Wine and Chameleone.

Barbie's reaction sounded like scripts in a yet to be released book on people who try so hard. "We sometimes wonder why some people deny the obvious when criticised, why they desperately seek for assurance that they are loveable, why they try hard to please others in order to get public attention."

She concludes: "Wonder no more. Such people have low self esteem and they don't believe in themselves. Try hard to accept who you are and never to wish you were somebody else."

Have the wars crossed to the musician's wives!! Watch this space!

Baby Caysan all growed up
It's getting hot in here. The 'Owa Boda' star and former model Zuena Cool also the mother to Bebe Cool's three kidz is advertising a 4-bed roomed house in Kigoowa for rent shortly after Chameleone unveiled Daniella Villas that go for Shs1.2m per month in Bweyogerere.

Zuena says that she's finalizing with the painting and the house will be ready in a months time. She concludes by saying 'Ndisa Butti Sipapa' similar to slow but sure. Appearing on WBS Tv Monday Night Live show, Bebe said that he could have completed his house had it not been the Shs90m that he has sunk in his various charity activities.

Chances are the 4-bed roomed talk has been sparked by Daniella Villas which Chameleone constructed for his wife, Daniella. Zuena has now brought out the Kigoowa house as a way of containing the Villas.

Recently Zuena told her fans that: "Ladies & gentlemen with all due respect plz stop comparing me with other musicians wives, we're very different in terms of background, age, tribe, sense of fashion, likes and dislikes..the only thing we have in common is being married to a musician yes MARRIED. thank you in advance"

Zuena is now showing how different she is from the other musicians' wives.

Chameleone showing off the Villas he built for his wife Daniella
Chameleone showing off Daniella Villas that he built for his wife Daniella to celebrate their love.

As Bebe Cool was on WBS talking about how he met Zuena and his forthcoming album launches let alone justifying why he should get the Shs2.9bn in the Nakumatt shooting, the 'Salute' star was unveiling the Daniella Villas to his fans.

The 'Moto-Moto' star who has been battling with hugging a nude model for the last two weeks and trying to let whoever cared to know that (1). Daniella was in Italy (2). She was not about to divorce put all his problems at the back of his head to usher in the rental villas he constructed for his wife as a way of celebrating their love.

"After not being their at the olympics 2012, time running out at the Africa Unplugged, the nude girl saga, friends, I unveil out of (Chameleone Investments) Daniella Villas, Namboole. Neighbour "Z" wake up.

Bebe Cool referred to him and Bobi Wine as Neighbour (A) and Neighbour (B). Bobi Wine has been busy with the launch of his 'Jennipher' track that seems to be occupying him as he is busy convincing all those concerned that he was not singing about the KCCA Executive Director.

On the other hand, Jose Chameleone has been busy with the Moto-Moto launch at the same time digesting model Kabareebe's bum cheeks, so he hadn't responded to the 'Ndisa Buti'  star.

He has officially branded Bebe Cool Neighbour ''Z'' which also happens to be the first letter for Bebe's wife Zuena and he is asking him to wake up. The star wraps up by saying: "Leone Island Tugende Tukole"

Bebe Cool kissinhg Zuena on his birthday at Assylum Bar

While other celebrities are celebrating their birthdays at 25 and working their way downwards, Bebe Cool has just made 35. On 1-Sep-2012, the 'Akamwako' star celebrated his birthday at Asylum bar and later crowned the night at Guvnor.

Zuena who could not hide her excitement had this to say: "Happy birthday to my hubby, friend, father to my angels, my one and only Musa Bebe Cool. I wouldn't ask Allah for a better husband am proud of you and I cherish each day with u. Long live my love."

Amazingly, Bebe Cool is older than Bobi Wine(30), Chameleone(33) though Ragga Dee beats them all at 39. This is the soul reason you will not get Ragga Dee in these cats fights.

Daniella and the kids in Italy

Star singer Jose Chameleone has come out for the second time to clarify that his wife and kids are not in Uganda but on holiday in Italy. This follows reports by some sections of the media claiming that Daniella has left the Seguku mansion and is currently staying at her uncle's place in Mutungo.

The whole of last week, pictures of Chameleone with a butt flashing model Doreen Kabareebe were the talk of the town. Close friends to Daniella intimated to some snoops that Daniella actually warned Doreen to keep her 'curves' off her man.

In his latest posting, Chameleone says: "It is a pity how media is telling lies for money. I'm clearing the air, my beautiful wife Abba, Alfa and Alba are not in Mutungo as alleged by the media.

My family is on holiday in Italy and not bothered by the rubbish haters are trashing! Please respect people's families. My family please enjoy your holiday, no stress."

Chameleone who last performed in Brussels on Saturday is yet to join his family in Italy. and has termed the split talk as utter rubbish. "Daniela and I are still together and as much in love with each other as we have always been...My wife is much too wise to be upset by something as petty as that. She loves me, understands me more than any other person in the world and supports me in whatever I do." Chameleone said.

Chameleone chatting to curvy Doreen during the Sisqo concert
The 'Salute' star Jose Chameleone is on the spot after the pic of him and a butt revealing model went viral.

The music doctor has been forced to speak out and he says: ''People should not attach this girls dressing to me, I'm not her fashionista"  This statement got reactions seconds after and among them was Andre Skillz who said:

"I'm still struggling to make sense out of your statement! And come on you can give a better defense than that, Is that really the best you got? Chameleone said that's all and the rest is to my wife."

Jose Chameleone got to a point of referring whoever was making this an issue to a fag. "I've got a very strong family that understands me other than any fag making this an issue." As all this is going on Chameleone's wife Daniella and the kids are on holiday in Italy.

Close friends to Daniella say that she has already warned Doreen to stop rubbing shoulders with her husband. Doreen's attitude initially was ''I don't Care'' but that has long changed as she is now claiming she was backstage dressing.

"Those who criticized me on that dress, I was backstage dressing en besides those who matter accept me that way." Doreen wrote on her wall. She also clarified to a pal that:"I was dressing up from the backstage to go and model and among all the models, its only me they could see."

2Face Idibia and Jose Chameleone outside the Wembley Arena
Africa Unplugged is the music festival that unites Africa on one stage with over 15 top artistes from the continent. Jose Chameleone was the only artiste who represented Uganda much as he did not perform due to time constraints.

The function that was supposed to start at 5pm to 11pm started a bit late that the long list of artistes could not be accommodated in the allotted time. Other top artistes who did not perform include Mr. Flavour the 'Ashawo' star from Nigeria and Fally Ipupa among others.

The star has gone ahead to apologize to his fans for having failed to perform and promises to make it next time. Chameleone also blamed the organisers for the mess. The star who is always on the move and never runs out of options has already switched to his plan 'B'.

On 1-Sep-2012, Chameleone will be performing at the finals of Miss East Africa Belgium 2012 with Rwanda's Knowless and Ray Blaze from Nigeria.

Jose Chameleone starts pressure group
Jose Chameleone has for the last 12 years been doing music tackling various topics that have had a great impact on many of his fans across East Africa.

The star has now changed tactics by coming up with his latest song Moto Moto which doubles as a pressure group aimed at urging people to work hard as opposed to waiting for others to do work for them.

Moto Moto Pressure Group is free for everyone to join. Moto is a swahili word meaning 'fire' representing the heat that is being felt by Ugandans through the hard economic times. Jose Chameleone is borrowing a leaf from other countries that have used music as a tool to achieve their cause.

Chameleone is now planning a mega launch for the song in which more details on how to join the pressure group will be unveiled.

Zuena defends hubby in Chameleone-Bobi attack
Bobi Wine after unleashing the boat said 'Kano Katandika Butandisi' meaning the show is just getting started.

Yesterday, we told of how Bebe Cool attacked his 'neighbours' in which one failed to perform at the Olympics and the other bought a canoe and was yet to start fishing at Busabala Beach.

Fans assured him to leave fellow singers alone as he was contradicting messages in his very own tracks like Minzani and Kamwako among others. Bebe was also told that he is good but Chameleone is by far and large better than him in music and could not even measure up to Bobi's assets.

This did not go down well with Zuena(Bebe's wife) who started unfriending all those who were talking ill of the 'Akamwako' star. Some of Zuena's friends who had been scrapped off that title had started complaining.

Zuena wondered: "Abange if you dislike my husband or his music & I unfriend you, why do you fuss, behind every successful man there is a supporting woman." Bebe Cool did not waste any time in responding to his wife:

"Hhahaha Luv wange, vakundinga ezo. tebamanyi gwebalumba, njakubaezo embuuzi" translated as"My love leave them as they don't know who they are dealing with, I will beat those goats"

Meanwhile, Bobi Wine's wife Barbie Itungo is busy promoting Bobi Wine's latest track 'Obuvuka' with a theme of you reap what you sow and posting more boat pictures while Chameloene's wife Daniella Atim is busy taking care of the kids.

Bobi Wine on his 'boat', Bebe and his dogs during the last album launch and Chameleone in the UK during the Easter Holiday
Local music star Bebe Cool who is fresh from Germany has started off by dissing fellow singers Jose Chameleone and Bobi Wine referring to them as Neighbour A and Neighbour B. In his latest posting, Bebe Says:

"I once had two neighbours (A) and (B) four months ago, neighbour A told me he was going to rap at the Olympics faster than Usain Bolt. Neighbour (B) not wanting to be out-done, told us he had bought a canoe and he was yet to buy a fishing net. All this was simply Air. What is your take on the neighbours."

Now looking at how events have been unfolding (A) is Chameleone who recently went on strike after his passport was held in Tanzania and among others, he said that he wanted his passport back as he was slated to perform at the closing ceremony of the Olympics. Stephen Kiprotic took the moment. Chamelone is now saying that confiscating his passport led to delays in securing a visa.

On the other hand (B) is Bobi Wine who made headlines with a boat that he is valuing at $750,000 while other sources are claiming the boat is actually for Sudhir's daughter. This is fresh and we are yet to see how the 'Neighbours' will treat this.

Chameleone in his latest track 'Salute' referred to them as 'Ba Bigambo boys' as they kept trading insults in 'By Far' VS 'Big Mouth by Far songs' Chameleone also reminds them that its' been 12 years when the name Chamelone is the one that rules the industry.

Since Bebe Cool was asking for views on what the fans thought of his analysis of his 'neighbours', the fans did not disappoint but the majority told him that it would be wise if he left Chameleone out of the bickering.

These were some of the views:
Kizito Kizman: Neighbour A is better than you in music and Neighbour B is better than you in money and assets by far.

Eric Shigongo issues apology to Chameleone over the passport saga
Last Thursday saw Jose Chameleone demonstrating at the Tanzanian Embassy over his passport that had been confiscated by a one Eric Shigongo over US$3,500 that went missing after George Mugabo approached Eric as Chameleone's manager.

Chameleone later went to Eric to demand for his dues only to be told that someone who masqueraded as his manager had been paid. This is when the passport was confiscated for close to a month.

All efforts of getting the passport back had failed so like a chameleon, he devised other means. He went to the Tanzanian Embassy where he held a peaceful demonstration. This got the IGP Lt. Gen Kale Kayihura involved and the passport was flown to the country within two hours.

The latest info coming in is that Eric Shigongo of Global Publishers has apologized to the singer for mishandling his business issues and promised not to do it again Eric concluded by saying that he is coming over to Uganda to pursue the suspect in the courts of law.

The news of the apology found Chameleone in a happy mood after he had just listed to the jazz version of his Valu Valu hit on the Saturday night party in the Big brother house as Sanyu FM's DJ Pita spined the discs.

Chameleone's range rover, mattress at the Tanzanian High Commission in Kampala
This morning star singer Jose Chameleone drove his Range Rover Sport and parked it right at the Tanzania High Commission with his mattress, guitar with placards demanding one Shigongo Eric to return his passport.

Shigongo is the promoter who contracted him to perform in Tanzania which he did but Chameleone's manager and another conman only identified as George, Shigongo lost USD3,500.

The star who had just performed in Rwanda - Amahoro Stadium simply dashed to the Tanzanian Embassy for a peaceful demonstration to compel them to help in retrieving his passport.

A team of police officers in a police pick-up UP-2627 came to the scene and pleaded with him to stop the demonstration. The star later had a meeting with the Inspector General of Police who promised to work hand in hand with their counter parts in Tanzania to have the matter resolved.

In Set: Jose Chaameleone performing in Tz and there after he travelled to Rwanda
We recently told of how Jose Chameleone had performed in Tanzania after four years from the time he sleep walked off the third floor damaging his legs seriously. Tanzanian fans at the Saba Saba stadium loved the Valu Valu flow.

However, the Tanzanian ghosts are not sleeping as they are still haunting him and now his performance in South Africa and the UK(Olympics opening ceremony) hang in balance after a one Eric Shigongo, CEO of Global Publishers, the company that hired him to perform in TZ confiscated his passport over US$3500 which is approximately Ugx 8.5m.

According to Chameleone, that money was swindled by a one George in Kampala who he managed to track and forwarded to police but was released later under circumstances that were not clear to him.

Jose Chameleone tried to reach out to the Tanzanian Embassy here in Uganda over the matter but did not get that much help. "I have upcoming performances in South Africa, England, Belgium, Norway, Canada etc, so is Eric Shigongo above the law to keep my passport illegally for over a month?"

Chameleone has now abandoned his house and is heading to the Tanzanian Embassy where he will camp to the time when Eric surrenders his passport to the Ugandan Government. Watch this Space!

Jose Chameleone enjoying mangoes at the National Theatre
Musicians and film makers held a meeting with the Kampala Metropolitan boss Andrew Kaweesi at the National Theatre yesterday protesting those that pirate their music.

This followed the tax body Uganda Revenue Authority issuing notices to some of the big names in the industry to pay taxes out of their recently held shows. Musicians retaliated by saying that they will not pay the said taxes if their music is being pirated.

The police boss promised to enforce the crack down. A few weeks back, policemen and members of the Uganda Performing Right Society (UPRS) were faced with resistance as the tried to crack down on the music pirates down town.

The Anti-piracy protest lasted several hours that when Chameleone saw a mango vendor within the vicinity, he called the lady who put the mangoes right on top of the bonnet of the BMW that was donated to him by Meddie Ssentongo.

The star who was very hungry at the time did not waste any minute in crushing the nutritiously rich fruit which was not even ripe.

Uganda's music heavy weight Jose Chameleone was yesterday performing at Saba Saba National Stadium in Tanzania doing most of his hits but the crowd's favourite was Valu Valu. The last time the star was in Tanzania was four years back in which he sleep walked from the third floor of Impala hotel in Arusha breaking his legs.

The star will be in Rwanda on Jul 14 at the Amahoro Stadium and on the 27 and 28 July, he will be in Democratic Republic of Congo. Early August, Jose Chameleone will be in South Africa and on the 27 Aug, the star will be representing Uganda in the Africa Unplugged show with Cabo Snoop in Wembley London.

Some of the assets the artistes could lose over Tax Evasion
A few weeks back, Uganda Revenue Authority froze Eagles Productions accounts in Centenary Rural Development Bank after it discovered that the band members had evaded taxes for long.

The tax body is now closing in on other top artistes like Bobi Wine, Bebe Cool and Jose Chameleone who could lose some of their property as the tax body tries to recover the taxes the singers have not remitted in the various shows over time.

The artistes have not paid Value Added Tax (VAT) on their album launches and concerts. According to a source from URA; "Chameleone is in trouble because he has so far refused to clear the Shs9m dues for the Valu Valu album launch alone. A notice ordering him to pay it as soon as possible has also been sent to him."

Bebe Cool and Bobi Wine have not yet paid taxes on the recent successful Battle of the Champions that was held at Kyadondo Rugby Grounds. The artistes have to clear their dues very soon or else URA could attach their posh rides, mansions and land titles.

Chameleone's Range Rover now has 'DOCTOR' number plates
Three months back we told of how East Africa's best and Africa's no.6 had bought a Range Rover after the successful Valu Valu Concert.

The ride came in at the time when the Yutong Pioneer buses were being driven around Kampala without number plates but now the buses have number plates and so is Chamili's ride.

The doctor of music has put on 'DOCTOR' customized number plates on his latest ride.
Meanwhile, Chameleone turned down the battle between him and Bobi Wine, Bebe Cool and the Goodlyfe Boys combined as he is looking at bigger things.

The father of four has instead opted to battle it out with Africa's top artistes in Wembley Stadium this coming August. He is also slated to perform at the opening ceremony of the Olympics 2012 in London.

Iryn Namubiru with her child and Bobi Wine's family
The names parents were giving to their children 30 to 40 years back were very simple names like Robert for Bobi Wine, Joseph for Chameleone and Moses for Bebe Cool. Very interesting indeed and had they left them that way, chances are some could be unheard of.

Children of this generation are not gettingnames like it was back then. Below we take you through the names some od our stars have given their children.

Bebe Cool - Zuena welcomed a bouncing baby boy three days back who happens to be their third child with Bebe Cool. These ones have decided to go about it the alphabet way. Alpha is the first born followed by their only girl Beata and now another boy Caysan.

Jose Chameleone - Exactly three months back Daniella gave birth to their third child who they named Alba Shyne Mayanja. Their first born is Abba Marcus Mayanja. Now looks like this one has gone for names starting with 'A'

Bobi Wine - Now the Omubanda wa Kabaka's is out of the box. He named his kids after cities. His first born is Kampala, and the second one is Nairobi. Their latest was given the Shilling name may after running out of cities that they could embrace.

Juliana Kanyomozi - For the lady musicians it has been nice and polite. Juliana's son with her ex is called Keron Lukwago.

Cindy - The former Blu3 member had 3 items on her agenda last year and one was to give birth, launch an album and have Mario put a ring on her finger. She achieved the first two and now fingers crossed for the wedding. Cindy named her first born Amani. Just next door in Kenya, we have a Kenyan artiste who goes by that name and when she hits stage, all the front row guests are treated to a 'VIP' show of sorts.

Lillian - The former Blu3 member has a child with Goodlyfe member Moze Radio and was given Asanti as the name which is a Swahili word meaning Thank You.

The Luwero fans after they became rowdy and inset is Chameleone
Last month Jose Chameleone's Luwero Valu Valu show at Bukenya Foundation Hall did not take place after he failed to perform due to the poor sound system.

According to Chamili the equipment was not properly configured to give that output as he required so not wanting the fans to confuse the bad output with his music, he refused to perform.

The fans pleaded with him to perform but the star refused to perform as long as the DJ's did not do something about the output. This was even made worse when the generator failed to work.

This sent the fans into throwing stones and destroying everything in their way. Police had to come in to quell the situation though several items were destroyed as the fans were protesting the move.

The latest is that Chameleone's music equipment which was confiscated over a month back can only be released after he pays the proprietor of Bukenya Foundation Shs15m which is an estimate of the loss out of the broken chairs and beers.

Meanwhile, Jose Chameleone and his wife Daniella were yesterday in Bina church where his father in law Fr. John Scalabrini was given a new name of Mutebi Ssalongo which seems to be simpler for the locals to pronounce.

Fr. Scalabrini seemed to be amused with Chamili's braided hair style.

(L-R)Jose Chameleone, Ragga Dee, Papa Cidy, AK47 and Eddie Kenzo
A few days back Weasel Doug was letting the Londoners to be ready for the Goodlyfe Duo this Easter but as it turns out, they will not be going to the UK after they were denied  visas. Instead Ragga Dee, Eddie Kenzo, Jose Chameleone, Papa Cidy, AK47 will be performing in the UK during the Easter period.

Jose Chameleone was so happy over the European tour that he could not hide his excitement. Right from Entebbe Airport, he was seen blocking the plane stairs as he took photos of this memorable moment. It is understandable as Jose was last in the UK six years back.

Meanwhile, Eddie Kenzo is all smiles after the Goodlyfe boyz were denied visas to the UK. Jose Chameleone and the other Leone Island members will perform at concerts dubbed "The Return of the Living Legend" in Coventry Leeds and London.

Jose Chameleojne buys a Range Rover Sport
Jose Chameleone is the latest to join the Range Rover Sport family following the successful Valu Valu live concert. The singer who upgraded the wife's car from a Harrier to BMW X5 series was seen driving it around the nite spots last Wednesday.

The grey Range Rover like the Pioneer buses was being driven without a number plate. The star is likely to customize it with 'Valu Valu' registration number. The Valu Valu concert was a success unlike the Luweero fans who did not get a feel of it after Chameleone refused to perform citing poor sound of the equipment.

Balaam Barugahare, the promoter who sponsored the Valu Valu Concert made losses in Luwero estimated at 17m. He has now put conditions for Chameleone not to go to the UK where he is scheduled to perform during Easter so he can be part of Balaam's Easter shows.

The Ranger Rover move is an assurance to Balaam that he has enough money now that the ride cost him 200m before taxes. Watch this space!

Jose Chameleone in action at Kyadondo Rugby Grounds
The show started at 9:00pm and went on to 1:00pm. MC Kats and Salvador were the MCs of the night

It was a rainy evening but this did not stop the fans from hitting the venue early enough. Kyadondo Rugby Grounds was fully packed for the Valu Valu Live show as Chameleone fully dressed in military attire hit the stage at 10:00pm.

He took off a moment to remember scores that died at the spot during the July 2010 Kampala bombs.

"I would like to dedicate this concert to the souls of those that died here and those that were injured, we are with you our brothers and sisters. We are Ugandans and no one, not even terrorists should threaten us in our country."

Being the Chameleone he is, he did not leave out his fellow artistes. Even though Kyadondo is full, some people are still missing like Bebe Cool and Zuena, Bobi Wine and Barbie, Moze Radio and Weasel, there presence would be a good thing so we enjoy the music together.

Shida Za Dunia, Nekolera Mali, Bomboclat, Basiima Ogenze, Mukisa Gwo, Bayuda, Technology and collabos with Papa Cidy were among the tracks he played that were in the range of 25-30 tracks or there about.

Other artistes who helped the music giant to bring the night down were Navio, Jackie Chandiru, Ragga Dee and Eddie Kenzo among others.

The Valu Valu show will today shift to Mukono and tomorrow in Entebbe.

Chameleone displaying a phone named after him

Just recently we told you of how Chameleone was into things after landing a Samsung deal that would see him appear on their billboards plus other TV and Radio adverts. That was not all, a mobile cell phone named after him was to be launched too.

Confirming the technology in him just like one of his tracks dubbed Chamili Chamili Technology, he unveiled the phone that is likely to be given to lucky fans during the Valu Valu Concert.

The year 2012 so far is just amazing for the East African music giant. A few weeks back, his wife Daniella Mayanja gave birth to a bouncing baby girl and to this he upgraded her car from a black Toyota Harrier to a Black BMW X5 series as a gift. Way to go!!!

Chameleone Asks! - What's your favorite song?
With less than a week to the Valu Valu Concert, Jose Chameleone is asking his fans what their favorite song is! of course he is trying to compile his playlist for the coming shows but what was surprising were the songs that turned out to be the most loved at least from 70 of his followers in just an hour of that post.

Over 31 tracks were listed and Valu Valu was the one with most likes and mentions but the mere fact that Valu Valu is Chameleone's latest, we decided to leave it out and consider those that are relatively old but still on people's minds.

'Shida Za Dunia' was released in the year 2006 but six years later, it still has ardent followers. It was slightly below Valu Valu followed by 'Jamila' and 'Mama Mia.' Tracks like 'Bayuda', 'Beyi Kali', 'Befuula', 'Basiima Ogenze' and 'Dorotia' had at least more than three mentions.

Interestingly, his first track 'Bageya' that was done ten years back could feature on the list. You can watch Jamila and Shida Za Dunia on YouTube from the links below:

Zuena Kirema during the Minzani launch

Wife to Bebe Cool Zuena Kirema might be in the US waiting to give birth to their third child but she is still in touch with home and following events in spite of being very heavy. She congratulated Daniella on giving birth to a beautiful daughter Alba Shyne Mayanja.

"Congratulations Daniella Atim Mayanja upon the birth of yo baby girl Alba, may the almighty keep blessing u & yo little one. Am really happy for u dear." Zuena wrote on her wall. Now you can clearly tell that from the message, Zuena is happy for Daniella.

In August last year, Jose Chameleone beat up Bebe Cool before converting to Islam but Bebe Cool termed all that as publicity stunts aimed at garnering him (Jose) coverage. In spite of all that, the wives wish each other well.

Bobi Wine and Barbie seem not to be bothered by this and they continue to go about their chores normally.

Jose Chameleone has taken business to another level. Just after releasing the video for his latest hit Valu Valu whose concert is slated for March 02 after it was bought off by music promoter Balaam Barugahara, he has now partnered with one of the Telecom companies to make Chameleone mobile phones.

The phones will be on sale and giveaways to fans. The phones are likely to be popular now that the star has made a decade in the music industry and still counting. Hits like Mama Mia, Jamila and Mama Rhoda, among others are old but still sound fresh.

The Valu Valu Concert will be his latest after the Vumilia and Bayuda launch. Last year, he tried to convert to Islam and a week later changed his mind leaving by his name 'Chameleon' but in spite of all that coupled with controversies here and there, that has not stopped him from releasing hit after hit.

Chris Evans and Dr.Chameleone to launch on the same date
The Valu Valu star Jose Chameleone will be launching his latest album on March, 02 the same day upcoming artiste Chris Evans will be launching his at Club Obligato. The upcoming artiste was seen on one of the local TV's shedding tears for what he termed as unfairness of the big boys in the industry.

Chris Evans took the PAM Awards Upcoming Artiste of the Year. Some unconfirmed reports have it that Jose Chameleone had decided to reschedule the date but his promoter Balaam insisted that the show takes place on the set date.

It has been a very serious debate on one local station with many saying that Jose Chameleone should give chance to the upcoming artiste. What is disturbing is why these two were even compared.

They have totally different followings which should not affect their audiences. Chameleone has over 10 years in the music industry and some are wondering why this is even an issue.

Zuena(Bebe Cool's wife) and Daniella (Chamelene's) wife are both expecting
It's quite amazing and good news to hear that the two top musicians have been busy lately and not just sleeping as their wives are expecting. Zuena left the country for the US before Christmas to go and deliver there.

Bebe Cool had earlier on told whoever cared to listen that Zuena was to deliver twins but this was ruled out in her posting to mark 10 years with the dread locked star when she said.."We make ten years together with 2 kids and one is on the way..."

On the other hand, Jose Chameleone has bought Daniella a BMW as a present for having  a daughter in the pipeline. They have two boys Abba and Alpha Mayanja. Jose has a daughter with his first wife called Ayla Mayanja.

Bebe Cool on the other hand goes by the ABC ...order while choosing baby names. Alpha is the first born followed by Beata and now the search for the 'C' name is on.

Jose Chameleone

Jose Chameleone also the Leone Island boss signed a five year contract with an online music businessman for only Shs5m for a period of five years and according to insider information, the businessman is already in multi millions courtesy of a song that was sold to a telecom company.

The singer is now in consultations with legal experts on how to get out of the deal but it looks like he has to wait until the five years are over based on the contents in the small print.

It's not the first time when the star is signing bad contracts. One time he signed up one with a top telecom company and in the process lost millions of shillings as he was not supposed to perform at certain functions.

Juliana and the PAM Awards chairman Isaac Mulindwa at the launch of the Awards in Kampala
Last Saturday all roads led to UMA show grounds which was the venue for the 9th PAM Awards. The function kicked off at about 6:00pm and ended a few minutes past 1:00am on Sunday. Gold tickets were going for Shs 200,000 bronze tickets Shs120,000 and the bona balabe or regular was going for Shs 30,000.

At the end of the event Iryn Namubiru emerged as the PAM Awards Artiste of the year 2011. Bebe Cool was one of the top artistes who graced the event but we now bring you some of the top artistes who snubbed the event.

Jose Chameleone - Nominated in three categories but only got Best Afro Beat/Artiste Group but did not bother attending like he has done for the last so many years. That has not stopped him from releasing non stop hits. The other award he also got was the one that Bebe Cool dedicated to Jose, Bobi Wine and the Goodlyfe boys for having snubbed the function.

Moze Radio and Weasel - They took the award of the Best Afro Beat courtesy of their Talk n Talk song. After minutes of waiting and confirming that they were not around, Straka swung into action by saying "Wabula Agayaaye ago tegawoneka" meaning that not even an award would convince them to attend. They however attended last year and during the final PAM Awards bash they were present.

Peter Miles - The Oja star also self proclaimed king of dance hall did not show up despite being nominated in the category of Best Ragga Artiste.
Desire Luzinda - Curvy Desire Luzinda was not any where close to the PAM Awards venue. It's like the second tie in a row when she is not being nominated in any category

Juliana - It is not clear what happened to the PAM Awards 2008 artiste of the year and the first female artiste to kiss the main accolade. During the bash that launched the PAM Awards at Club Le Beaujolais, Juliana attended the function sending a clear message that she was on the same page with the organizers but wappi, she was nowhere to be seen. She is in the country because a few days back she was performing with Kenny Lattimore at the Qatar Airways Launch.

Bobi Wine - The last time he sent his wife as he claimed that he was performing at a different function, but from the time Barbie graced the event and came back empty handed even after the husband had been nominated in several categories, the two have vowed never to come close to the awards. This is what happened on Nov.5.2011 as Bobi and Barbie were nowhere to be seen. Bobi Wine's ?Matyansi Butyampa's video lost to ex Blu3's Jackie Chandiru's 'Agassi'

Jose Chameleone Fights Bebe Cool at Club Rouge
Something should be terribly wrong with Jose Chameleone and he will stop at nothing to make news. He has been in the news for having converted to Islam only to make a U turn 36 hours later.

The Catholic Church has insisted the star should undergo training for close to two years before he can be accepted back to the church. Before the dust could settle over the Islam saga, Chameleone went to Club Rouge and straight on started beating Bebe Cool.

Bebe Cool in his words said; "I cannot believe JOSE CHAMELEON entered rouge & started fighting me his maker after all I have done for this chap now I accept a lost chap is a lost chap, I will never protect CHAMELEON again am not surprised he's fighting me coz he needs the front page more than anybody. ma advise to u Chameleon sing music coz i've got a lot in stock watch yo skin."

Other sources seem to have it that this fight stems from Bobi Wine's wedding. Bebe Cool's camp was trying to pursuade Chameleone's Leone Island Crew not to attend Bobi Wine's forthcoming wedding and that is how one thing led to the other.

Jose who will be launching his Omukisa Gwo at Hotel Africana this Saturday posted this on his wall; "You are not even ashamed to declare me an enemy because Iam going for Bobi's Wedding? BEBE STYLE UP. We are not as young as yesterday. Shame on your Mouth and jealousy deeds."

Bebe Cool will be performing in the UK on Saturday at Troxy, 490 Commercial road during the Ugandan Convention UK. He will perform with Eddie Kenzo, Bella, Mesach Semakula and his wife Zuena.

Chameleone was under too much pressure that he had re-join the Catholic Faith
The pressure has been too much for the music star to handle after he converted to Islam last Friday. Jose Chameleone had even changed his name to Jaffar Gadaffi Mayanja on converting. Two days later, Chameleone's wife and the two kids packed their bags and left the music star all by himself.

In a meeting chaired by his mom who stood by him throughout this time and a few relatives, they reached an agreement that Chameleone goes to Bbina Church this Sunday and denounces the Islamic faith as a sign that he is back to the Catholic faith. In the meeting, you could clearly see Chameleone disturbed.

Chameleone has been through a lot from the time he walked into the Kibuli Mosque. Initially, he thought he was only going for Juma prayers just like many politicians do but when they asked him to come and address the people, he became overwhelmed and recited the Shahad prayer that coverts one to being a moslem.

His dad was so furious to the extent that he stopped him from using the family name, Mayanja. Daniella was clear that the man she had married was a Catholic and not a Muslim, so she left Chameleone's home to the time when he could denounce that faith, and then go back to his home.

Chameleone's in-laws also supported Daniella with the actions she took after last Friday event. Chameleone was however quick at distancing himself from allegations that this was a publicity stunt.

The music star said that he has launched a number of albums and he did not have to do anything but people still came in large numbers. Star Jose wedded his longtime girl friend Daniella Atim on June 7, 2008 from Bbina Catholic Church. The two are blessed with two boys Abba Marcus Mayanja and Alfa Mayanja.

Jose Chameleone attending prayers at Kibuli Mosque
Jose Chameleone and his wife have converted to Islam and were seen at Kibuli Mosque last Friday cruising in different cars. Jose will stop at nothing to make news. He has been in the news over his change of names, cars, horse, house, videos and music among others.

Now it is his religion. Jose and wife were practicing Catholicism before this and they tied the knot from a catholic church. It is not clear if this is one of those stunts to keep in the limelight. Just last week we told of how Zuena tried a come back telling her fans how she is a cocktail of breeds.

She wrote that; ''My mum is half Tanzanian and half Arab from Oman and my Dad is half Munyankole from Rukungiri and half Tutsi from Rwanda." This was after Barbie's tattoo had even won a slot on the front page in one of the leading daily newspaper.

Some people have even gone ahead to suggest that Jose could be pulling this move to counter the publicity Bobi Wine is getting over his wedding that will be held on August 27.

Jose and Iryn at one of the Unplugged shows

Now this is not funny. As predicted Chameleone was to defy the doctors and go out on various Easter shows that were being advertised. The money was so tempting that the Bayuda Star had to fall for it. If Chameleone had kept indoors during the Easter season, he could have lost close to 20m.

A few weeks back, metals were removed from his leg and was advised to have ample rest but Dr. Chameleone simply rubbished all this and took to the stage. He was in Entebbe Resort Beach for Easter when a group of guys attacked him and hit the legs where it hurt most and also cut his hand with a bottle.

Jose had to take off to Kitooro police station which happened to be in the vicinity but he injured his legs the more. He was later taken to a clinic to treat a wound he had just sustained on his arm.

The star never ceases to amuse, there after he made his way back to the venue just because he did not want to let down his fans and one Mr. Chopper who had hired him. On Easter Monday, his leg was bleeding profusely but he still wanted to go to Masaka for a performance and then back to Kiwatule to join  Bebe Cool for the East African Carnival.

There were a number of artistes to perform during Easter so Chameleone asked his manager to find out what time they will be performing. The manager came back to Chameleone and informed him that after three artistes have performed, it will be them to perform, so Chameleone made his way to the back stage but as he went through the crowd, one person who he initially thought was a fan jumped on him and grabbed his neck.

Chameleone was able to over power him. He asked Chameleone that can I have my things? Chameleone wondered what things this guy was talking of! Within no time, bottles were flying all over the place that the star got hit on the arm. It was his bouncers that came to his rescue at this time as the crowd was closing in on Chameleone. The case has been registered at Entebbe Police Station under file no: SD 21/04/2010.

Chameleone talking to the mum as his wife Daniella looks on at Nsambya Hospital yesterday
The huge metals in Dr. Jose Chameleone's leg were removed following powerful stage performances that made them loose. He will stay at Nsambya hospital for  at least three days. The metals were inserted in his feet to enable him walk after he allegedly sleep walked from the fourth floor of his hotel room in Arusha, Tanzania in the year 2008.

Initially Jose had feared to be operated on but later agreed and a total of 15 metals were removed. Bebe Cool is one of the artistes who convinced him to go for the operation now that he had equally had several operations done on him the previous month.

Jose Chameleone's wife Daniella and Jose's Parents were all there to give him support and comfort. Jose's only worry is being held in hospital and yet he feels the urge to perform and several shows have been announced and he thinks he should be their and not disappoint his fans.

Chamili's foot during the operation and now
Singer Dr. Jose Chameleone is back in Nsambya Hospital after several nails in his leg moved from their original positions while he was performing. In October 2008, He allegedly fell off a building while in Tanzania. Several operations were made on him and was given a wheel chair and advised to rest for several months.

The star defied the doctors advise and went ahead to stage the Bayuda Concert 2 months after his accident. Mid last month he held his 'Basiima Ogenze' launch which involved staging various shows.

A few days back, he was performing in Lyantonde and noticed a piercing pain in his leg but since he is "Chamili Atagenda'' he ignored the pain and being a doctor he is, he continued treating his patients with Chamiliology music therapy.

Later in the night, the pain intensified and the star had to seek services of a masseuse. This did not seem to work either forcing him to go for a thorough check up that revealed that most of the nails in his leg had moved from their positions.

Chameleone in Star QT Designs

Jose Chameleone was in South Africa where he had gone for the World Cup photo shoot adverts and World Cup song. Star QT Designs, a label by Stella Nankya a Ugandan were one of the stylists. She will be launching her products this August. GNL, Jamal and Kandiba Akabadi star have featured her clothes in their videos.

Jose and Bebe at Bayuda Launch early 2009
Jose Chameleone and Bebe Cool started their music careers in Kenya 10 years back and after that long it is clear what each of them has done when it comes to the music circles in Uganda. He makes it a point that each year that passes by he releases an album.

The last five years have seen him release Kipepeo, Shida Za Dunia, Katupakase, Bayuda and now Basiima Ogenze. Interestingly, all his albums have a blend of their own. Ten years on the music scene and still dominating is no easy task especially when all the back up artists have turned out to be fully fledged artistes and competitors.

Bebe Cool was very supportive in the Bayuda Launch but this time round it was not possible as Bebe Cool was shot in the thighs five times by a police man at Centenary Park parking making it hard for him to support Chamili physically. He was however determined to be available at the show but his wounds opened up.

Zuena insisted Bebe should not attend the show as he was in serious pain after the injuries he sustained during the rehearsals for Basiima Ogenze concert. That aside, Bebe Cool was in serious Radio Ads as he drummed up support for Jose Chameleone atagenda.

Last Friday had one of the best crowds in the year as Jose Chameleone launched his Basiima Ogenze in which he appeared in a police uniform as a way of supporting Bebe Cool who was shot by a policeman.

Jose Chameleone survived being shot at yesterday afternoon. He happened to stop by a petrol station on Bombo road known by the Kobil brand and while there he fueled his vehicle. Being an artiste he is the pump attendants demanded that he sings for them which he did after paying for his fuel to the tune of 100,000/- in denominations of 50,000/- each.

At the time they were with his wife Daniella Atim who happened to be driving, so as they were driving off the pump attendant hit the car from behind asking them to stop as one of the notes tendered in were fake. Jose ordered his wife to drive on as they were rushing to one of the clinics in Wandegeya.

On their way back, a Kobil guard stopped them and the two simply drove off ignoring him. The guard decided to pursue them on a motor bike or "boda-boda". That part of Kampala road was in a bit of a jam, something that favoured the guard on the boda-boda to catch up with the Ba Yuda star around King Fahd.

The guard asked Chameleone to stop and to this the star outrightly objected. He almost knocked him prompting the guard to shoot in the air. This forced all those who had gathered to run for their dear lives. The star drove straight to the Central Police Station(CPS). The guard also followed him to the police station.

The two made statements. The guard accused Chameleone for deposting fake notes at the petrol station while Chameleone also opended up a case against the guard, one James Agong for tring to kill him.

It should be recalled that in December 2008, this is the same man who sleepwalked through his hotel room window at 3rd floor to the ground. Early this year the Ba Yuda star was involved in a fight with one businessman and his girl friend which scuffle left him admitted for sometime and yet he had to rehearse for the album launch.

Bebe Cool has made news for a greater part of this year ranging from his marital issues and financial problems. However the untold story behind all this is the Hummer which has been his dream car for the last three years which seems to be on its way to Kampala.

Jose Chameleone has just brought in a Cadillac Escalade a model 2004, after Bobi Wine's had been around for sometime though he has opted on donating it after Chameleone had emulated him.

Bebe Cool's Range Rover could be somewhere attached as collateral but yes he had better things to spend his money on other than paying debts and now you should wonder no more what is it that he was spending his money on. It appears he has settled the hummer and what remains to be cleared are the taxes and the number plate.

The Range Rover has a BAFFUDDE number plate so AGENZE or ZUENA could be the number plate for the hummer yet to hit Kampala roads.

The Ghetto President has put his Cadillac Escalade on sale through auction and the proceeds will go to the Owino market victims. Supposing the car does not fetch any money for reasons related to the credit crunch, this could as well imply that the Ghetto President has donated nothing.

Meanwhile Jose Chameleone had given cash worth US$ 250 and a pledge of 7,000,000/- which is to be realized on Sunday (01-Mar.2009) during the Mbuutu Yembutukizi at Nakivubo. This has forced the Ghetto President, Bobi Wine to retaliate with a briefcase with cash not a pledge of 10,000,000/- which he gave to the traders.

While the Ghetto President is just giving away the Cadillac free of charge to the traders that is if someone volunteers to take it at the agreed price, Chameleone has just imported the same car but a better model. You can now read between the lines..Chameleone was trying to emulate Bobi in cruising a luxurious SUV but the President has said no, and he is instead donating it opting for a customized chopper.

The traders who lost their property in the Wednesday morning fire have continued receiving massive support from sympathizers and well wishers the latest coming from President Yoweri Museveni who contributed 1billion shillings. He made the offer today when he visited the site to assess the damage for himself.

The Kabaka of Buganda, Ronald Muwenda Mutebi who contributed 5 Million through his Minister yesterday also visited the burnt market today. The Bayuda Star Jose Chameleone yesterday went to the burnt market and as usual he was lifted around waving to his fans. Chameleone( real name Joseph Mayanja) gave the traders half a million shillings and also pledged seven million Ug shillings to help in the settlement of loans acquired by these traders. Bobi Wine has auctioned his Cadillac Escalade and he is calling for the rich guys out there to come up with at least 200 to 400 million in exchange for his luxurious 4WD SUV. The money will be donated to the traders.

70 percent of the traders in this market are women who had acquired loans from micro-finance institutions as start up capital. Unfortunately all their efforts were reduced to ashes last Wednesday. Other items donated to the traders include nails, furniture plus other accessories to help in the restoration of the stalls.
