The Kenyan based artiste is all smiles after her debut collabo with Uganda's Juliana Kanyomozi is becoming an instant hit. In Kenya, it is ranking as the most popular video and equally doing well on Uganda TV stations.

The message to Juliana summed it up all; "Juliana..nobody could have done this better...tuko juu tu sana!!!" 'Mpita Njia'  meaning 'passing by the road' is one of the tracks on Alicios album that is yet to be released.

The album has other artistes like Kidum from Burundi and other Kenyan artistes. Meanwhile, she has written all her songs including Mpita Njia. Born 25 years back, Alicios real name Alice Niyonsaba was born in Democratic Republic of Congo.

The Mpita Njia video which was shot from Uganda will give diva Juliana a boost in her music career in the East African region.

              
At the end of last year, Bebe Cool together with his Gagamel Crew advertised the coming of Chaka Demus and Pliers massively to usher in the new year. In the end, Pliers and Mr.G of the Swaggerific fame plus several local artistes together with Bebe Cool put up a splendid show.

The Jamaican stars had attracted hundreds of fans to Speke Resort Munyonyo that is owned by property mogul Sudhir Ruparelia, but on realizing that of the Chaka Demus and Pliers singers, only Pliers had turned up, all hell broke loose.

Some of these fans had just been duped earlier on by the organisers of Oneil Bryan aka Elephant Man who did not perform on his own show, so they became violent and resorted to damaging property that included lights, pavements and washrooms to cover up for what they termed as a 'loss'.

Sudhir now wants the 'Minzani' star to cough the dime that is estimated at Ugx40m in damages..Watch this space!

Jose Chameleone has taken business to another level. Just after releasing the video for his latest hit Valu Valu whose concert is slated for March 02 after it was bought off by music promoter Balaam Barugahara, he has now partnered with one of the Telecom companies to make Chameleone mobile phones.

The phones will be on sale and giveaways to fans. The phones are likely to be popular now that the star has made a decade in the music industry and still counting. Hits like Mama Mia, Jamila and Mama Rhoda, among others are old but still sound fresh.

The Valu Valu Concert will be his latest after the Vumilia and Bayuda launch. Last year, he tried to convert to Islam and a week later changed his mind leaving by his name 'Chameleon' but in spite of all that coupled with controversies here and there, that has not stopped him from releasing hit after hit.

Upcoming artiste Dan Flavor who did 'Rudi Nyumbani ' with former Dream Galz member Leila Kayondo don't see eye to eye after Leila failed to perform their collabo at Hotel Africana a few months back.

Dan Flavour who is the latest Dembe FM made artiste after the likes of Eddie Kenzo, Dr.Hilderman, Chris Evans and Liane among others said on Dembe FM while appearing on Bina Baby's program.

Dan Flavor and Leila were at Hotel Africana waiting to perform but the artistes were so many, so they had to choose from the very many artistes and the Kuzina Nawe star was luck to be among those to perform.

She was allowed to perform three tracks and Dan Flavor hoped that Leila could include 'Rudi Nyumbani' on the play list but she did not. This did not go down well with him. He thought this was an opportunity for him to launch the track on the local scene.

He instead went outside Uganda and decided to launch the track in Kenya and Tanzania. He originally did the track with some lady who happened to be a born again, so she declined to appear on the video.

Dan Flavour went on a search spree to replace the babe who did the song originally and this how Leila came into the picture. The song has a video that was shot by Kim XP and is widely played on local televisions.

The Valu Valu star Jose Chameleone will be launching his latest album on March, 02 the same day upcoming artiste Chris Evans will be launching his at Club Obligato. The upcoming artiste was seen on one of the local TV's shedding tears for what he termed as unfairness of the big boys in the industry.

Chris Evans took the PAM Awards Upcoming Artiste of the Year. Some unconfirmed reports have it that Jose Chameleone had decided to reschedule the date but his promoter Balaam insisted that the show takes place on the set date.

It has been a very serious debate on one local station with many saying that Jose Chameleone should give chance to the upcoming artiste. What is disturbing is why these two were even compared.

They have totally different followings which should not affect their audiences. Chameleone has over 10 years in the music industry and some are wondering why this is even an issue. 

It's quite amazing and good news to hear that the two top musicians have been busy lately and not just sleeping as their wives are expecting. Zuena left the country for the US before Christmas to go and deliver there.

Bebe Cool had earlier on told whoever cared to listen that Zuena was to deliver twins but this was ruled out in her posting to mark 10 years with the dread locked star when she said.."We make ten years together with 2 kids and one is on the way..."

On the other hand, Jose Chameleone has bought Daniella a BMW as a present for having  a daughter in the pipeline. They have two boys Abba and Alpha Mayanja. Jose has a daughter with his first wife called Ayla Mayanja.

Bebe Cool on the other hand goes by the ABC ...order while choosing baby names. Alpha is the first born followed by Beata and now the search for the 'C' name is on.
