Well, for people that know music, you are not the only Ugandans i criticize for the poor production of music. Many Ugandan artists, because they simply want to produce as many songs as possible, end up producing trash. If one is very keen, and the DJs will agree with me, all the songs buy the Good Life Crew can be mixed by any junior DJ because they have the same beats, BPM. Ugandans need to learn how to produce songs of different styles and beats. Even some big ones like Chameleon, Babe, and Bobie have fallen to this. I will give an example of South African music that was produced in the 70's and 80's.

That music is still great because it had different styles of production. Listen to songs by Chiko Chimola, Brenda Fasie, Chaka Chanka, Mid night express, Free way, etc. Their songs are great because of this. Ugandans need to know that the ears of the listeners are not trash bins do dump any noise that they produce. To compete on the world seen, we need to be real producers but not just shouters. I commend the lady who sang Kawonawo. She brought a good style that is unique. Be creative. I will an example of Nasil Jones' song, ( Nas) How many Mics. It had a unique style. Look at people like Wyclif Jean.

They have many songs but with different styles and production of beats. But you must agree with me Goodlife Crew, that you are still so so juniors in the music field. If you do not make diversity in the beats and production, i am worried you are not yet singers but school boys that get just one beat and rhythm and use that for all your songs.

That is why at my age, i enjoy AFrigo Band. It has a variety of music, but with different styles and beats. Grow up and get to what is called music. Otherwise, you are producing some organised sound with the same beats and rhythm. You are not Kadongo kamu singers like Abdu Mulaasi. You are dance hall singers.

Listen to dace hall singers like Patra, Beenie man, etc and feel their diversity. Uganda's production in music and videography is far far too low compared to even the 70's and 80's of South Africans. Just tell me which Ugandan singer has a song currently that matches songs like Magita, Self service, My neighbor, Mama land, etc. All these are old South African songs. This explains why many people jam Ange nior's oldies night and that pub at Rubaga, towards the hospital junction. People relate old music with real music because you the new generation has failed and is simply fighting each other around which is bull shit.
