Code read out the task which was apples in one barrel to be transferred to another barrel with the help of your mouth while your hands are tied behind you. Initially Richard was the first to get an apple from the barrel to be transferred to another but it fell outside the bowel making him loose those minutes to Maureen.
The first one to feel up the bowel had to blow the whistle which was also picked by the mouth and this Maureen accomplished before any housemate making her the New Head of House. This will automatically secure her another week in the house. In the same vein should Code be up for eviction and Maureen is not, she can then use this chance to save Code.
On completing this task, Bertha who came third developed some bad cough as a result of running very fast in a bid to win the task.It should also be noted that Bertha was Head of House before and while HOH she saved Meryl and replaced her with Maureen the week that saw Jeff Anthony from Kenya to be evicted.Jeff had 7 votes against Maureen who had 6.
Meanwhile this week; its going to be fake eviction where by no housemate will leave the house. However this information not known by any of them so the tension and the panic similar to the fear of being evicted still lingers on in the house..Fake as it is the housemates with least votes are the ones up for eviction so that they also get the feel of what it means to be up for eviction.
With Maureen as the New HoH, here are a few sms applauding the move and others predicting actions that should be expected in the Penthouse.

Will she cope as the HOH with her bad communication skills and a fragile heart? I think she is in for a high jump and i hope we will not see her crying all the time because of the pressure she will get as HOH.

well done Maureen,don't look down on people because they will surprise you,Maureen has surprised a lot of people today.bb to be fair you have to take Ofunneka and Kwaku to penthouse next week,don't be partial they have not been there once.as for the head of house reward is immunity from eviction.
