Metered Taxis Now in Uganda

Metered Taxis are now available in Uganda. You do not have to worry about being over charged as the meter will charge you based on the mileage. This is very helpful in instances where there is a problem with communication. In India for instance, metered rickshaws do the trick. You simply sit because anyway they do not have doors and all you do is to tell the driver left, right slow down and stop and all you do is to pay what is reflected on the meter.
