Maureen Namatovu a designer by profession represented Uganda in Big Brother Africa II that was being aired on MNET's channel 37 and later 198. The show had twelve contestants from Tanzania, Uganda, Kenya, South Africa, Malawi, Angola, Nigeria, Ghana, Zimbabwe, Namibia, Zambia & Botswana.  Maureen from Uganda was the 4th last to leave the house. Tatiana from Angola was in the 3rd place, Offuneka runner up & Tanzania's Richard emerged the winner taking the 100,000 US dollar prize.

         

Tatiana who is a model and actress by profession was a finalist in the just concluded Big Brother Africa II series. While in the house Tatiana and Richard who emerged the winner of the $ 100,000 US dollar prize were in love as both of them admitted on the final day. It was certainly not an easy run for Richard's wife Ricki. The latest is that the two have reconciled and Richard has told off Tatiana who had made it a habit of calling him almost daily. 

               
These floods rocked Kampala 3 days to the Summit that saw the city have a new look within a span of months. The city was looking attractive unlike for the floods that almost sent wrong signals to the delegates who were to be in Kampala a few days later.A Toyota Premio is almost submerged by the floods.
