Hotels and Banks have set up branches at the airport. Banks that have set up ATM's at the airport are Barclays, Crane Bank, Stanbic Bank. Most of these ATMs are Visa enabled implying that whether or not your bank is available you should be able to use the ATM (Automated Teller Machine) service.

Serena Hotel, Speke Resort, Hotel Africana have offices at the airport which works out the transfer to the hotel for those looking for a three to five star treat.

The waiting lounge for arrivals has a wider space with a sitting area with Crane Cafteria ready to sort out your refreshment needs. The Telecommunication giants MTN, UTL, Celtel did not miss out on setting up centers to take care of sim cards, airtime, cell phones and other communication needs.

Hertz Rent a Car is on stand by ready to drop you to Serena Hotel but there are some other vehicles outside the airport which are checkered or clearly marked Airport Taxi. If there's no meter in the car it does no harm to haggle your way to a reduced price from the one mentioned.

The duty free shops are fully equipped with all items ranging from electronics to souvenirs. Some shops at the airport would accept credit cards but just incase they don't you might require some loose change not to miss out on the desired item.
