Hoima -The district has a good road network connecting the rural productive areas to the urban centres located in Hoima district. It has a 200 km trunk road that runs from Kampala to Hoima and 550 km of feeder roads.

Kabale -Kabale district lies in the south west of the Republic of Uganda. It borders with the districts of Kisoro to the west, Rukungiri and Kanungu to the north, Ntungamo to the east and the republic of Rwanda to the south. The District consists of Ndorwa, Rubanda and Rukiga as the three (3) rural counties and Kabale Municipality as the only urban area.

Kabarole -Although there is a need for the district to extend the road network particularly to productive rural areas, it already has substantial road coverage. The road network currently spans 718 km of both feeder and access roads.

Kaberamaido -Kaberamaido district however, has an excellent all terrain marrum road network. It can also be accessed by air transport at Soroti air training school via Soroti district to Katene-kalaki and Bululu.

Kanungu -The district has a fairly distributed feeder road network and community access roads that facilitate transport within the district and beyond. There are two small airstrips at Kayonza Tea Factory and Ishasha Sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park. Hotels include Savanna Resort situated in Kihihi, a number of tourist camps in Bwindi and many smaller ones in Kanungu Town, Kihihi and Butogota trading centres.

Kapchorwa -By 1934 Sebei now called Kapchorwa was under North Bugisu under the colonial administration. North Bugisu that comprised Sebei county, Central Bugisu and South Bugisu were all part of the larger Bukedi district.
