Bidders of marine related equipment that will be used during the CHOGM meeting for purposes of marine transport have been invited to submit their bids to the CHOGM task force.This was released in a procurement notice by the Ministry of Works which also added that the deadline for submitting of bids was Thursday, June 7, 2007 before 11:00am.All bids are to be accompanied by a bid security of 4,000,000 in form of a bank guarantee.
The equipment to be supplied among others includes wooden canoes, safety & navigation equipment, a diving scuba gear equipment, life jackets and several boat accessories.
