A local company specializing in surveillance cameras has been given the contract to install closed-circuit television (CCTV) as part of the security plan for the summit due in November 2007.Sekanyolya systems Ltd was given the 2.2Bn Tender to install the CCTVs at Entebbe airport, Entebbe town and some parts of Kampala.The cameras will also be installed at Speke Resort Munyonyo the main venue for the summit.Police Spokesman Mr.Kasinye confirmed the award.

The camera's are expected to be in place by June and the public will be advised accordingly.
