Jose Chameleone whose real name is Mayanja Joseph has been around since 1999 when he released his first album. He has so many awards to his music. Esther Nabasa Mugizi is the latest entrant in the Uganda celebrity circles after beating 18 contestants in the Tusker Project Fame 2 (TPF2) Academy competitions in Nairobi. The 21 year old student in Makerere pursuing a degree in telecommunications engineering brought the 130 Million bounty home. She has written over 100 songs which she is yet to release.
Gaetano Juko Kaggwa - His rise to stardom was during the Big Brother Africa 2003 when he represented Uganda in the house. Since then he has never looked back. He is the UN Aids special representative, host of a travel program on Mnet, Studio 53. Gaetano is also a morning presenter on the Kisementi based radio station 91.3 Capital FM.
Maureen Namatovu - Uganda's representative in the just concluded Big Brother Africa ll series. She has not been as lucky as her predecessor Gaetano Kagwa whose time since 2003 has been very fruitful. She was the fourth last to leave the house paving way for Ofuneka, Tatiana and eventually Richard from Tanzania who emerged the winner.

Sylvia Owori - She has her own fashion label "Sylvia Owori" which is a fashion authority in Uganda. She pioneered in the Uganda modeling business, proprietor of the African Woman Magazine that is sold across East Africa. Sylvia has also managed the Miss Uganda event before.
Mariam Ndagire - Mariam has not only got a striking beauty but also an Actress cum Musician. She is good on stage and she has classical hits like Kiki Onvuma which will sound very fresh in ones mind after a very long time on the music scene.

Dorcus Inzikuru - The Ugandan from Arua District has sold this country to greater heights. She has two Gold Medals in the 3000m steeplechase. One was attained in the World Championships in 2005, Helsinki and the other the following year in Melbourne Commonwealth Games.
Bebe Cool (real name Moses Ssali) is a Ragga musician in Uganda. He won the Best Reggae/Artist Group of PAM Awards three years in a row i.e. 2004, 2005, 2006. He was privileged to perform at Nelson Mandela's 90th birthday at Hyde Park in London where Will Smith was the MC. More on Bebe Cool.
